 Mercedes Universal (estate car) !966.   This car is in original condition even still having the rare 15in wheels.   All the mechanical parts are in excellent condition.   I have gone through the whole car. the engine is the original type but not original to this car. The cars original worn out engine is included in the sale.   The manual gearbox is column change and works perfectly. I spent a ridiculous amount of time adjusting linkage and replacing bushes in order to get a perfect gearchange.   The brakes were overhauled about 4yrs ago. they still work perfectly.   Both bumpers were rechromed before I bought the car and are still in excellent condition. they were covered with a protective lanalin grease before being parked up.   The readiator surround is in extremely nice condition as are the hub caps.   The rest of the chrome is nice with some parts better than others.   The tyres are 15in and all need replacing. they should be safe for a few miles if someone wanted a test run.   The paintwork had just been done when I bought the car about 10yrs ago it was a good job but needs a repaint now with some areas of rust that need attending to.   This is by no means a rotten car and a good body specialist could make a stunning car of it.   Interior is generaly very good.   The seats have suffered a little with coulour loss due to sun scorching it has not damage or weakened the MB Tex and recolouring would make them good again.   The car car has been standing for around 4 yrs it is UK reg but now stored in Ireland. I would give all help possible with shipping anywhere in the world. All in this is a very nice vehicle. I also have 2 W111 coupe restoration projects for sale.   I do not accept returns unless I have incorrectly described the vehicle.   The pictures shown were take a couple of months ago and show the car in its present condition.
