“One owner from new” The first and only owner being a retired RAF officer. Mr McCowan. Mr McCowan was stationed in Europe and due to retire from active service. As a retirement present to himself he would order a new Mercedes E Class.  Mr McCowan would order his new Mercedes via the local Belgium Dealership to full UK specification ready to drive home. From year one he has all servicing and maintenance carried out by the Mercedes agents. Mr McCowan would keep a detailed service history since new.

On the Road: My Mercedes starts on the first turn of the key and the drive is excellent. As soon as you drive off you will realise how good my car is. The automatic gears change smoothly both up and down the gear box. The Diesel engine is smooth and powerful and at its best motorway cruising. The steering is tight and positive and the suspension and ride quality is exceptionally smooth. Every single interior feature that I have listed works including the air conditioning. The brake pads and discs are in excellent condition and work perfectly. This Mercedes E Class drives just as you would expect a well maintained Mercedes vehicle should.

The Boot Compartment: An extremely large loading area. The boot interior is clean. dry and the carpet trim showing little sign of use. The spare tyre and wheel is original and still unused. The jack brace and locking wheel nut is all present. The warning triangle is attached to the underside of the boot lid.  

The engine compartment: The engine and surrounding interior panels are completely free from oil and dirt. The Engine compartment has recently had a valet which included a shampoo. polish and finished with a quality silicone. The engine is in perfect working order and has no faults.

Interior: The perforated leather seats are in superb order and show almost no signs of wear at all. Even the driver's seat bolster is unmarked. The dash. doors and centre console trims are all in perfect condition. Also all the wood finish looks stunning and is unmarked and highly polished. The floor carpets are in really perfect condition with virtually no signs of wear. The carpet pile is deep and soft. There is a set of original carpet over mats still in the car which have also gone a long way to preserve the interior carpets. Even the optional over mats are immaculate. The original first aid box is also present which is stored under the front passenger seat compartment. The optional fire extinguisher is stored under the driver's seat compartment. “I can't stress enough how perfect the cars interior is”. See my pictures. It is near new!!

Wheels and Tyres:  All four alloy wheels are in stunning condition.   They are highly polished and completely unmarked. All the tyres are in excellent condition. The front tyres have good tread depth and good for many miles. The rear tyres are brand new.  

Body Work and General Condition: The whole exterior of my car is in really excellent condition. All the body panels are exact and completely free from the usual every day dents and scratches. Every panel has a glass like finish. The paint work has a deep lustre having been regularly polished. There is a very small blemish here and there as you would expect as the car is used. Certainly nothing that would put you off. You would need to look really hard to see them. The under side of the car is clean and there is no sign of oil leaks. All the sill plates are unmarked and all the door checks are immaculate and clean. See my pictures.

My car has a wonderful dealer service history and only one private owner since new. The Mot is valid until January 2014 and the next service isn't due for another 9000 miles. Prior to putting my Mercedes up for sale I have had my garage check her over from front to back. As well as having all levels and tyre pressures checked.
