Here is my 1952 chevy pickup truck which I have owned for the last ten years. I have used this as a daily vehicle for all that time. The engine is a Toyota landcruiser straight six non turbo diesel with a five speed box which will regularly  return 28-30 miles to the gallon. The front axle has a disc brake conversion and the rear is a later f250 truck axle with better brakes and higher gear ratio. This setup has proved ideal for everyday use. The cab has had new floors- kick panels-cab corners etc. any serious rust has been cut out and replaced with new. pickup butt included. Front an rear window rubbers and glass are new. door window channel has also been replaced.
