Due to health issues. I am selling my 1926 Cadillac V-8 Brougham. This is an original. all stock car. It was sold new through one of the oldest Cadillac dealers in the U. S. . Roth Cadillac in Erie PA. They received their agency in 1903. This 1926 Cadillac remained local to the Erie PA area its whole life and was stored for about 40 years in a climate controlled building. The car was repainted in its original color of Cadet Blue with black fenders and roof. in 1965. The paint shines and presents beautifully. but does have some imperfections and crazing for being almost 50 years old. It was traded back to Roth Cadillac as partial payment for a new car and I traded my 1947 Lincoln V-12 show car. plus cash for this Cadillac. I trailered it home from Erie PA in November of 2011 and have enjoyed driving it and showing it at our local car shows. I even got one "Best Of Show" at our local Wed. night car show. The distributer was rebuilt and brake work done by Roth Cadillac and a new battery installed right before I bought it. I had the water pump rebuilt and a new fan belt installed. The original V-8 engine has over 80 horse power with 314 cubic inches. hence the model designation of 314. This is a Brougham body style. having 2 doors and besides the door glass. has only one other rear side window.  Cadillacs of this year had over 50 body styles and configurations. so practically no two are exactly alike. This is a large automobile. weighing over 4100 pounds. but she is not too tall to be able to fit through a standard garage door. This Cadillac has a manual 3 speed transmission and 4 wheel mechanical brakes. Some factory options include dual rear spare tires. trunk rack. trunk with 2 twin suit cases inside and crystal octagon bud vases. She also has a cigar lighter on the dash with a 10 foot cord to reach the rear compartment. The lighter is not working. but is all there. Inlaid wood trim under front windshield. as well as a match box and ash tray in the rear. Window shades with tassel pulls look beautiful. Tires are 33 inches in diameter and are in new condition. but I dont know how old they actually are. No side wall cracking and are white walls. They are mounted on demountable steel rims attached to 21 inch wood spoke wheels which are in excellant condition. One front fender has a battery box (6 volt positive ground system) and the other has a tool box with all factory original tools in their original canvass pouches including a jack. Former owner claims that the car had 7500 original miles. but I doubt that is correct. I have put on about 300 miles on her in the 18 months I have owned her. I have several other classic cars. so they all don't get a lot of miles put on them. The front windshield cranks up vertically about 4 inches for air conditioning 1926 style. The interior appears to be original. however the headliner looks a tad newer than the door panels. There is an 8 day clock in the dash. that works for a few seconds and stops. Probably needs a cleaning from a watch maker. Dash light. dome light. head lights and tail and brake lights all work perfectly. Inside door handles are bale shaped. All gauges work except gas gauge. This is a beautiful classic Cadillac that runs and drives beautifully. I must sell her because of recent heart problems. You will not be disappointed in this fabulous car. She is located in Waterford Michigan. just West of Pontiac. CALL ME WITH QUESTIONS. as I am not always able to answer questions via the ebay auction forum. I can be reached at 248-802-7924 or 248-674-7305. My name is Gary. I expect a $2000. 00 deposit within 2 days of auctions close and the balance wired into my bank before the car leaves my garage. I will work out the details with the winner of this auction. Read my feedback and bid or buy with confidence. I have lowered both the reserve price and the buy it now price on this 1926 Cadillac. If this Cadillac is what you are looking for. do not snooze and loose out on a classic Cadillac Brougham.

Also. /strong> I bought a pair of side view mirrors for this car and they are mounted to the windshield visor. There are Cadillac scripts on the hubcaps and they state the famous slogan. "standard of the world. " There are also Cadillac scripts on the headlight rims. front of the radiator and the motometer (thermometer on the radiator cap) and the tail light bezel. There is also a Cadillac crest on the dash. This Cadillac has deluxe bumpers front and back. The transmission shift lever has a lock which prevents the shifter from being used. There is supposed to also be an air compresser located under the drivers floor. but I never have looked for it. I have a 1926 Cadillac shop manual and a fact sheet that goes with the car. The trunk and roof have been recovered in a vinal material. that matches the original twin suit cases in the trunk. The rear compartment floor has a foot rest. Original vacume fuel pump is still present under the hood. however it now has an electric 6 volt fuel pump. On the dash is the original pump handle. that you would pump to increase fuel pressure. It is disconnected. There is a special socket under the hood with an original working light bulb. to light up the engine compartment at night. I believe a factory oil can is mounted to the cowl under the hood. There is no oil dip stick. but rather a float with a ball at the top that reads. "full. nbsp;fill. empty". This Cadillac has both low and high beam headlights. Vacume windshield wipers move when turned on. but need  fixing to work properly. I just returned from our Tuesday night car show. held at Boomers Bar in Waterford Michigan. with this Cadillac and she always gets more attention than 5 naked ladys at a Moose Lodge meeting. You will love her! She runs and drives beautifully. Call me with questions. Remember. my buy it now price is only $1. 50. 00 over my reserve.

I have been asked the height of the car. at its tallest point. She measures 6 foot 6 inches. Add a half of an inch to be absolutely sure. Please call me. Gary. at the phone numbers listed above. if you need additional information. Good luck and thank-you for looking at my Cadillac.
