1966 Chevrolet Impala for sale
Current customer rating: (400 votes ) based onThere's a growing movement of using classic cars for daily drivers. Well. actually. there's not. but there should be. and this dreamy blue '66 Impala should be one of those cars. Boasting less than 67. 00 original miles. the car drives creamy smooth. The exhaust doesn't bark. it sounds nice. The paint job doesn't scream for attention. jumping up and down with arms flailing. "Hey. look at me!" but it's in fantastic condition - and people notice. The interior is nearly perfect. fresh and clean and comfortable. hearkening back to the days when life was less frantic.
This Impala sat ignored and forgotten in a barn for decades. When the owner passed away. his wife wanted to chuck the car to the dustbin. The owner's grandson raced to the rescue and lovingly brought the car back to like-new condition and enjoyed Sunday drives with his family. The original 283 V8 is plenty peppy. and not too thirsty. Don't laugh at that two-speed powerglide transmission. either. it makes for a great cruiser at a surprising range of speeds. It has air conditioning for those hot summer days. and four practical doors for your family or co-workers.
You could drive a modern car with plastic and complexity. devoid of character and continuously losing value. Or you could drive this 1966 Chevy Impala. a classic beauty that makes a statement of poise and dignified individuality. which will hold or even gain value if you treat her right. Slide behind the wheel of this fine machine and grace the roads with your presence. you just might start a trend.
