Since the former bid winner could not fund his purchase in a reasonable time. nbsp;I again offer this rare beauty.

Offered for sale is a 1964 Ford Country Sedan 6 passenger wagon. Finished in burgundy with original tan/beige/gold tone interior. This wagon has been very well cared for its entire life and has been a very enjoyable piece to own; a true head turner and car of continued compliments.  

ORGINIALALITY: This car lived most of its life in Texas. The car has been garaged kept or under a car port most of its life.  The exterior has (one) repaint by the prior owner some years ago.   The paint is in nice overall condition; shown many times as it sits.  The tan/beige/gold tone interior offers the original seat material that is in exceptional condition having been covered with the old style protective plastic most of its life. The interior is in absolutely remarkable condition given the age of the vehicle. Folks both old and young commit on the interior at shows because of its original condition.  The plastic seat covers are always a topic of conversation.

EASY TO DRIVE: The weigh distribution of the vehicle along with the manual steering makes this car a pleasure to drive handling easily with just a few fingers on the steering wheel on the open road.  The car honestly drives better than most Cadillacs of its' day.

RARE: Complete with factory AC. which was shipped with the car to the dealer and dealer installed. the car has plenty of power with the AC on with its' reworked 289 hp.  V8 that is set up to run on unleaded gas. The car also has its' original AM radio. This car was factory equipped with the very rare factory roof rack (which normally came on the Country Squire) along with the rare Air Conditioning for the 289 set up.

The mileage/odometer shows just over 121. 00 on the vehicle with confirming title. The motor has been reworked. transmission and rear end have been completely rebuilt. The rear gears were changed from factory 350's to 300's (Talladega or Country Gears as we call them) for better fuel economy making it an easier travel on the interstate.  

(The original 350 gearing is available with vehicle and are in great shape) 

Currently the wagon is sitting on 1965 Mustang GT rims and also has a mid 60's style replica Mustang steering wheel. The original rims (with 4 new white walls) along with wire wheel covers and the original steering wheel comes with the car.  

This is an absolutely beautiful car that will surely be appreciated by the true wagon enthusiast or those seeking a very nice piece to drive and enjoy. From young kids to the elderly. this car has always been a favorite whether being shown or on a leisurely drive.

The body is solid all around. Pictures do not do this car justice in any way.

The value of the 6 passenger Country Sedan equipped with the 289/Factory Air has increased 105. 68% (more than doubled) in value over the past 34 months. Few other America made vehicles are seeing this percentage of appreciation.
