RARE 1937 GMC T14A project truck. For Sale is what you see:Chassis very complete with front end and rear end plus flat head six cylinder motor that turns over. We did not try to start the motor.  This chassis is from a short wheelbase half ton T14A panel truck. We have included a 1938 Cab and two bare doors as shown in the photos which will be bolted to the chassis for transportation. This was a project I wanted to complete but other projects and my age are not going to allow me to do it. We had the cab and doors media blasted and then we primed them with a two part DTM metal epoxy primer. We did some minor body work to the cab. especially the firewall which had some holes drilled over time. One door looks great but the other door will need some work.  Here is the history on the chassis. It was sold as a T14A panel truck in Portland Oregon new. It was used by a welder for most of its life to weld the structure of the Bonnevile Dam. The previous owner I purchased it from had it for 25 years and I have had it for about 5 years. We took the panel truck parts and they were sold. It is currently titled in my companies name with a clear California title. The GMC vin plate and the vin number on the frame match. It is currently on planned non operation. This is a good start for a restoration or to build a hot rod. Note: The truck is sold AS-IS where is with no warranties expressed or implied. We also do have most of the parts to complete a restoration on this vehicle and those parts will be made available to the new owner as their choosing for an additional amount. THESE SEPERATE PARTS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS SALE. We do it this way as some may want to restore to original and some may want to Rat Rod or Hot rod the truck.
