1968 Ford Mustang

Hi and thank you for looking at my listing.  Hard to believe but its true.  This 1968 Ford Mustang is an original survivor with only 39000 miles on her.  The body panels are all original and the car is in unrestored original condition.  The original owner purchased the car in 1968 and had it approximately 23 years in his garage until his death in 1990.  A close friend of mine also in the car business grew up on the same street as the owner and knew him and the car his whole life.  When his widow wanted to sell the car. he rushed to purchase it.  It sat in his indoor storage facility until 2016.  He drove his kids in the car and used it sparingly over the years maintaining it and enjoying it with his family.  Now that his children are grown and no longer live in state. the car was just sitting not being used.  I have another close friend who is the vice president of a large dealer chain in our area.  He had a 68 mustang when he first got married and asked for his 30th anniversary if I could find him a car for him and his wife to enjoy once again on weekends.  I knew my friend had the car so I asked if he would sell it.  We struck a deal and I bought the car to my facility.   An unlimited budget was given to make the car perfect for his wife.  Amazingly. The car needed very little.  The dealer installed A/C blew cold.  The original radio worked perfectly. but only an AM radio as built.  For ease of maintenance and better performance. we replaced the original radiator with an aluminum one.  The car had factory power drum brakes which worked well.  For safety sake. we converted the drum brakes to ford disc brakes up front.  Sometime in its life time. the rear 1/4 panel had been repainted.  The spare time in the trunk is ORIGINAL and never on the ground.  There is NO RUST anywhere on this car. its never been driven in bad weather and always kept indoors.  It is registered as an antique in Pennsylvania.  The ford 289 v-8 is original and runs perfectly.  The tires are brand new. the tires on the car were outdated and dry rotted from age so I replaced them.  Now. after enjoying the car. he has decided to sell it since he is moving into a retirement community.   I would encourage anyone interested in this car to please come down and see the car before bidding.   LOOK at the pictures. the underside. the interior.
