You are bidding on a ONE OWNER 1968 Mercury Cougar with ONLY 28. 50 original miles!! This vehicle was purchased on March 21. 1968 from Medford Motors. the authorized Ford/Mercury dealer in Southern Oregon at that time. It was driven only in Southern Oregon and has spent the last 24 years in a garage.  We have the ORIGINAL temporary registration card. warranty plate and insurance card issued for this Cougar. We also have 100% of the vehicle registration cards issued since 1968. A few things were completed to have the vehicle in good working order:

Removed the fuel tank (hot tank and flush) and flushed the fuel system and replaced sending unit and fuel line hose Rebuilt carburetor. installed new cap. rotor. wires and plugs Removed radiator (hot tank and flush) and flushed cooling system Replaced radiator hoses and thermostat Flushed brake system and installed new rubber brake lines Replaced drive belts Automatic transmission flush (x2) replace filter and gaskets Replaced valve cover gaskets Serviced engine. flushed with new fluids after heat cycle

Everything on this car is original. except for front struts and rear shocks and the parts listed above. We have the original owner's manual and warranty book as well. There is too much history and information to go over. so please feel free to reach out to us. "It's only an original once".
