This is a very rare 1965 stunning red and white finished piece of Ford Americana. This model rare in a wagon. rare with stock 390 big block and very rare mixed with a 4 speed Hurst floor shifter. Fun and unique to drive with all these fabulous rare combinations. Put that together with drivable options of power steering. power brakes and air conditioning and this is a nice cruiser. Rear window is also power operated.

So firstly focussing on the body this has a lovely bright red paint job with pristine white roof. All panels are clean and straight with no signs of accident. This car has no rust - feel free to ask me to take it around the corner and put it up on our hoist for viewing. All the chrome and glass is in excellent condition and lights are in good condition. To set off this fabulous "red as a fire engine" finish this wagon is fitted with 2 super rare and unusual spotlights with built in rear view mirrors - very funky. If you want to take this one step further we have a working red American oldskool gumball and siren that is included in sale if you want to go the whole hog and make this into a super "fire chiefs" wagon. We even have decals for doors done up in period USA small town fire station livery.

Turning to the interior. inside is just as nice as outside with plenty of shiny bright red colours beaming out from inside. The upholstery of seats and door trims are in excellent original condition. The best part about the red carpet is that it is original and still in good clean condition. All door rubbers are in good condition. Interior lights all work. Dashboard is also in good order and original inclusive of valve radio however some useful after market guages have been fitted in tachometer. oil pressure and water temperature.

So now turning to the mechanicals and a lot of money has been spent on getting this car tweaked from sitting around back to what is now a daily driver. The 390 under the bonnet is original. clean and presentable and runs free and burbles and rumbles out of a new twin exhaust system. The 4 speed Hurst shifts easily and sweetly via a new clutch and the clutch pedal is a nice and light movement that doesn't require a gym membership to operate. The brakes have also been fully overhauled. Wheels are nice new chrome rims with all new rubber (original rims are also included in sale if wanted).    New suspension bushes all around and new rear shock absorbers have been fitted and also ball joints and sway bars have been recently done. Front and rear wheel cyclinders have been re-sleeved. We have also undertaken a recent full service and tune up so come and enjoy a trouble free daily driver that runs cool in the traffic. We have placed a pair of funky personalized period Florida plates on it to match the trim but documents show the car originating from Billings Montana. We are currently driving it around on permit and we have full original import papers and documentation and we can assist right through compliance and Queensland registration if required or otherwise easily drive or truck it interstate to interested buyers further afield.

At $19500 it is impossible to buy. import and land a similar car at the same price so we have this reasonably priced. but feel free to make a reasonable offer.
