1968 Chevrolet Camaro for sale
Current customer rating: (70 votes ) based onI was told that the stripes were removed in the 70's by the original owner and the fenders and header panel had to be repainted. The lower valence remains with original paint along with the quarters. roof. tail pan. door sills. and passenger door. The driver door had a small repair from a dent which was repainted but the door is original to the car. The headliner has pulled at a seam and a small hole which could be repaired. See pics.
I have the protect-o-plate which is affixed to the dealer protection plan book also with other misc. paperwork which verifies the mileage.
I am the third owner of the car which through paperwork was titled as a 1967 from new and transferred through both owners until my purchase. The car was purchased September 9th. 1967 hence the mistake with PA. title. The Vin. number remained the same so it was an easy fix at the N. J. DMV. The car was purchased new from Gray Chevrolet in Stroudsburg PA. and I was told was the first 1968 Camaro to be sold at that dealership.
The car has some minor dings and dents to support it's 50 years but still looks very nice and runs and handles just as good. I rebuilt the original carb. cleaned the intake manifold. air cleaner. and valve covers and repainted them to dress up the engine compartment for local car shows. I also installed a temperature gauge to watch for any overheating issues but none were noted. The cars options are: RS option. HH Grecian Green Color (less than 2% of 1968 Camaro's were painted this color). courtesy lighting. power steering. console. and deluxe interior.
If you have any questions or wish to inspect the car prior to bidding. please call 908 319-2127. This is a reserve auction so do not ask what my reserve is.
A $2. 00. 00 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the auction close and the winning bidder is to make full payment within 7 days or the car will be relisted and deposit will not be returned.
