Offered for sale by owner is a 1955 Chevy BelAir 2-dr post  BIG BLOCK 427 -5 SPEED!!!  I know that's enough to get your attention. but there's a lot more to this one.   The engine has been professionally rebuilt and maintained.   It's a 390 `68 Corvette block bored 40 over with Eagle I-Beam rods. forged pistons. Crower cam (280 HDP). Edlebrock BBC-RPM intake and 650 CFM Thunder Series carburetor; roller rockers; and it was balanced while in the machine shop.   Spark is provided from a MSD distributor through Taylor Full Metal Jacket Wires.   The exhaust system starts with Hedman Ceramic-Coated Headers that are connected to balanced Flow Master 2" pipes.  Keeping this big block cool is a Griffin Cross-Flow Aluminum Radiator with dual electric fans.   The front end has Jim Meyer Racing Rack & Pinion  Power Steering with 2" drop spindles connected to a Ididit Polished Steering Column with a custom steering wheel.   To stop this beauty are 4-wheel disc brakes.   The engine is backed up to a Borg Warner "Z-28" Camaro  5-speed and a "Z-28" 3. 73 10-bolt posi-traction rear.    She rides on 16" Center Line Polished Wheels with "Z" Rated Bridgestone Tires.   Inside the cabin you will keep your cool with Vintage Air Conditioning and monitor things with a Dakota Digital Dash.   Sounds come from a Kenwood Stereo and Amp with a 10-disc Changer.   At night the road ahead is plenty bright with Halogen Headlights and LED's front and rear.   The upholstery and carpeting are in like-new condition and so is the fully lined trunk with a polished battery case.   The glass. carpet and chrome is in Like-New condition except for 1 small scratch on the rear bumper.   The body is straight without any rust top to bottom.   The paint is older but still in good condition. I have owned this car since 05/2004 and it has been garaged 100% of the time.   She's a driver. not a trailer queen.   We've put about 28. 00 miles on her over the past 13 years.   She has a nice lobe at idle and with the balanced exhaust system she has a smooth roar going down the highway.    She looks fairly stock but when you fire up that Big Block she always turns heads.   This is not the car for someone looking for a mild cruiser but more for the "Rodder" looking for a classic `55 with lots of power and speed.   I have clear title to the Chevy with a California Issued Pink Slip.
