2000 Viper GTS in excellent condition.

Only selling because my Escalade was totaled on Friday and I'm in the "less is more" mentality and don't want to take out a loan to purchase a new replacement Escalade.

The reserve is extremely low and there's a buy it now of $35k.

I'm an avid car collector and currently own everything from a Ferrari to Camaro's to 55 Chevy's and everything in between.  This car has been well loved and maintained.  I purchased it almost three years ago after getting a divorce.  At the time it seemed to my life quite well.  It's sexy and fun and the car has been a great addition but as a single dad with 4 small kids I just find that we don't drive it much anymore (the 2015 Z28 gets far more use) so it seems logical to sell her right now.

This has to be one of the best color combinations on a Viper.  Overall the paint is in excellent condition but there are slight imperfections to note.  The front bumper cover could use a cut/buff to get all the bug crap off and to spruce it up.  Also. at some point in her life the car was in what appears to be a hail storm so you can see some chipping on the roof of the car and the right side quarter.  It's not overly noticeable unless you're right on it.  There are also rock chips on the lower rocker bulge areas below the doors and a few misc rock chips around the car but nothing major.  I've tried to show this in the pictures.  It comes with the shop manuals. owners manual and 10 new spark plugs. of which I never got around to changing.  I did install a Corsa cat-back exhaust which sounds amazing next to the stock exhaust.  Too much brake dust off the original brake pads so I changed the pads to EBC Red's and put drilled rotors on the car.  The tires have plenty of tread but I noticed the fronts are starting to weather check.

Needs:

- Could really use a good cut/buff.  Sorry but didn't have time.

- The original CD player sometimes has a mind of it's own when it comes to playing CD's.  The radio is fine but sometimes it will play CD's and sometimes it doesn't.  I've purchased another CD player from a 2000 Viper and it will go with the car should you decide to change it out.

It's been a great car and I didn't intend to sell it but sometimes life happens and this seems like the best option.  Car is located in Tulsa OK and you're more than welcome to come inspect before the auction ends.  Please only serious buyers.  $1k deposit due at the end of the auction and remainder to be paid within 7 days.  Cash. certified or bank wire.  Car doesn't leave until funds have cleared.  Please feel free to call or text with questions.  9one8. 261. 4333

Looks like the car already met reserve so it will sell to highest bidder!  I will still honor the $35k buy it now until Saturday at noon otherwise auction will go to the end.
A few questions to clarify. The car does not have any dents or dings because it's fiberglass but if you look closely you can see some chips in the original clearcoat from what looks like hail. You have to be looking to notice and less than 5ft away from car but I do want you to be aware.  It's mostly just on the back half of the roof and the right side. Almost like the front and left side of the car was protected or setting next to a building/under awning.
The cigarette lighter does not work. As far as I can tell it's never been smoked in but it doesn't work.
Battery was replace last fall.
The elastic bands on the interior (around the emergency brake handle and in the net on headliner) are starting to become weak. This is very common but just wanted to make sure you know.
It's a nice car but it's a driver. It's not perfect but it certainly hasn't been beat on either.  I've crawled all over this car and do not believe its ever been hit.
Regarding funds from the Cadillac. yes insurance will total the car and pay actual cash value. The Cadillac is worth $30k-ish and a new Escalade ESV is $85k+ hence the viper making up the difference.
