Here at MissChiTown we are a marketing arm for car collectors who want to have a marketing program setup for their ads on eBay.   We are also historians and when it comes to the 1955 Ford Crown Victoria it really should be known that the design of this car appears to have been influenced by the Ford concept car Mystere (see photo below).   The Mystere was considered to be one of the most beautiful concept cars of the 1950s and was designed by C. Kenneth Nelson.   We see the design cues in the crown strip going across the roof. the taillights as well as the side trim with the "vee" indentation or "The Swish" as it was called on the Mystere.  



All that being said. Ford Vickys (as they are called) are just filled with fantastic styling cues!  It is easy to understand why the Ford Vickys are such a favorite among car collectors. not only in the United States but in Sweden. Norway. Europe and even Australia and New Zealand.   Of course the Vickys have always been popular in the United States and Canada.

The 1955 Ford Crown Victoria as you can see from the pictures is 272 c. i. engine with a Ford-O-Matic transmission.   It comes with maintenance records from 1999.   The odometer currently reads 8587 and the actual mileage is unknown.   The car starts. runs and stops as it should.   The lady who has owned this Vickie since 1999 has told us that it has frequently been a top winner when they take the car to shows on the weekends.   She says that it almost always wins "Ladies Choice"!  The private seller has provided many additional photos in the video below.   We hope you take a look at the photos and see the many dealer installed chrome accessories including the continental kit and also the simulated wire wheels.
