1931 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan

*PRIVATE SELLER* For Sale is our 1931 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan.   Immaculately restored in 1969 after being found in a field. used as an old hunting car in it's first life.  The car was restored to as new condition and was used sparingly at our country home outside of Oshkosh. WI.  In 2011 we had a $16K refresh done by a man speacializing in Model A's from Lena. WI.  The refresh touched most every component in the car and brought the old restoration back to new again. About the only thing not done was the body.  The physical body (minus the fenders) was/is perfect.  We had the vehicle professionally detailed and it is truly beautiful!  This is an all steel. straight. original and perfect example of a Model A.  There have been no shortcuts taken or components overlooked to save money.  We have taken immaculate care of this car and it shows by the way it looks. starts and drives.  I have no reservations about driving this car anywhere.  We simply don't use the car enough and it is too much money to have in something that is not driven frequently.  It will be heartbreaking to see this car go having owned it so long. but someone needs to drive and enjoy this piece of history.  This car starts as SOON as you touch the starter.   It runs and drives perfectly. there are no defects with this vehicle.    The refresh included the following (and we have the paperwork to back it up):  New engine with hardend valve seats for running modern pump gas  Running synthetic oil since new New belts New hoses New clutch New custom made quad core radiator (will not even register a temp when idling!) New carburetor Modern "top plate" ignition system with faux capacitor to look original for show (custom made capacitor) Rest of ignition system replaced w/new New gel battery All black repainted - fenders and kick plates. splash guard and horn (body is perfect) Body mounts Fender bolts/nuts and fender welting replaced with new Transmission checked and refilled with oil Rear differential resealed New tires (5) Wheels stripped and repainted (5 including spare) New Brakes New transmission wicking and drain valleys New shocks (didn't even know the A had shocks until I was "educated" and now it drives WAY better!  This was not a cheap addition. cost over $1500) Various front drive components replaced. This 'A' is an excellent example and one that would take thousands and thousands of dollars to an existing car to be duplicated.   If you want a "buy it and drive it" car. this is it!  There is nothing this car needs. it is practically a 10.  Buyer is responsible for pre-buy inspection and all shipping/pick-up arrangements.  No warranties made or expressed.   This car is sold "as is. where is".
