1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302!!!

Here is an absolutely beautiful 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 that has been the subject of a no expense spared 3 year rotisserie restoration! This is one of the nicest Boss 302 Mustangs that I have ever come across. This particular car was painstakingly restored over several years to a factory fresh appearance utilizing all of the correct 1970 Boss 302 factory components.   The restoration is well documented with receipts as well as photographs. This Boss has been evaluated by an MCA judge. with a complaint that the paint quality is too high!  One look at this car and you can tell that this was an extremely high quality and thorough restoration. This car is 100% rust free and looks and drives excellent!!! Everything on this car has been touched. painted. coated. chromed. polished etc. The cost of the restoration far exceeds the asking price of the car. The car has been driven about 2000 miles since completion and the car drives excellent and is very reliable. This is a rust free Mustang and it is just as nice in person as it is in the pictures This car has been very well cared for and it shows. This is a great collectible classic that is surely to appreciate in value over the next several years!!! There are over 200 high quality pictures of this beautiful Boss 302. Exterior: This Boss looks great finished in its factory born shade of Medium Blue Metallic. complete with correct reflective Boss graphics. Shaker Hood. sport slats and front and rear spoilers. The Boss 302 is the icon of classic Trans-am racing. and this particular car looks the part. sporting the same style wheels and lower stance of the famous Bud Moore race cars. As previously mentioned. this car was the subject of a thorough multiple year rotisserie restoration. The entire car was completely disassembled and cleaned and stripped to the bare metal. The result is incredibly impressive. The body is LASER straight and looks stunning. The paint has a very "deep" look and has a great shine since it was a Basecoat/Clear coat paint job.   When the car was  painted. it was done properly and professionally.   All of the rubber seals were replaced after the car was painted and are all in great condition.   This is a 100% rust free car and the car appears to have not had any floor pans sectioned in. All of the chrome is in excellent condition and even the front window surrounds are the original pieces rebuffed to a mirror like shine and not Chinese remakes.   The correct paint treatment was used in every area of the car including red oxide underneath with correct "overspray" where correct per original factory specifications.   The underside and engine bay were given the appropriate inspection markings just as when the car left the factory on September 22nd 1969. Overall the exterior is in excellent shape and virtually faultless.

Interior: The beautiful Black Deluxe interior of this Mustang is like new and in pristine condition. Every panel inside the car has been refinished or replaced. The interior is virtually faultless. The front and rear seats are like new and in excellent shape and are free of stains and tears. When the seats were reupholstered all of the foam was replaced as well. The carpet is like new and in excellent shape. The headliner and door panels are also in excellent condition and finish the car beautifully. The dash pad is in perfect condition and is free of cracks etc.    The gauge bezel. lens and glove box door are all like new and finish the dash beautifully. The cars radio is a 1970 Philco radio and works excellent! Every courtesy light. every gauge etc. are all in great working order. Even the window felts are like brand new and the seat belts are even date code correct! Overall the interior of this car is beautiful and is a great place to be.

Engine: The Date Code Correct Boss 302 engine fires right up and runs like a top. This engine. like the rest of the car. was the subject of a thorough and complete performance rebuild. The engine and engine bay appear to be 100% factory correct. complete with correct rev limiter. power steering pulley. inspection marks and decals. The internals however have been updated with the use of many high performance components.   The engine has been treated to a mild performance build  and features a 331 stroker kit with 10:1 compression and even a custom ground cam. The entire engine has been balanced and blue printed. Fire up the engine and you hear the unmistakable sound of 100% Boss 302… but this car has more torque and more horsepower than stock and it is incredibly smooth. Again. special attention was paid to make sure that the engine and engine bay look concour correct and the engine still retains the correct Boss 302 manifolds. and proper H-pipe. The car's transmission was rebuilt at the same time.   The transmission shifts great and is in excellent working order with all proper Hurst linkage etc. The car runs nice and cool. even in Arizona's hot and dry climate. The car steers beautifully with its correct Boss 302 "pullied" power steering and the car tracks perfectly down the road. All of the lights. signals. wipers etc. are in great working order. This is a great driving Mustang that is truly turn-key and can just be driven and enjoyed. This really is a great car to spend time in!

Boss 302s that are finished to this incredible level of restoration are tough to find.   Lots of love. attention to detail and money have been poured into this car. As a result. this car looks and drives beautifully.   The Boss 302 is getting more and more collectible and as a result. they are investment grade automobiles. This particular car is no exception and is a true Blue Chip investment. The beauty of this investment is that you get to DRIVE and enjoy your investment instead of asking your stock broker about how your investment is doing. This car earns lots of thumbs up every where you go and is a pleasure to drive. It would make a great addition to any collection or a weekend show piece.
