FERRARI MONDIAL QV CABRIOLET CONVERSION 1983.
Good condition.
54. 00 miles (86000 km) from new.
Runs and drives well. This Ferrari was supplied from the factory by Maranello Concessionaires UK and sold new by the Leeds Ferrari dealer in mid 1983.
It was converted from a coupe to a cabriolet during the 1980's.
The Mondial has a tube-frame chassis so the conversion with mainly factory parts is relatively simple. Last registered in NSW in 2006.
Then bought by an eccentric owner who started it each month and drove it a short distance to lubricate everything then put it back in the garage. The car has since been recommissioned for use in 2016 with a full major service by Maranello Motorsport in Melbourne at a cost of $8000 and including new cam belts etc.
It is erroneously listed in some authoritative works on Ferraris as a pre-production cabriolet but research has shown this is incorrect.
