Thanks for looking at the Jaguar XJ40 that I am selling for a friend.
This car is in an ordinary condition both inside and out and is currently registered and driven daily. It starts first time and has never let him down in the 8 years that he has owned it. It has only done 175K in 29 years which calculates to around 6000klms per year!!! Less than half the average.
There is rust on most of the exterior panels and the interior leaves a lot to be desired.
On the plus side. it has 4 brilliant tyres fitted to wheels from an X300 and the automatic transmission and engine are absolutely superb. These engines are most sought after by speed boat enthusiasts.
So make your choice:- buy it as a 'fix up' project or flog the engine. nbsp;auto transmission and wheels and tyres off and make a tidy profit and sell the rest to an eager wrecker for $500.
Feel free to take it for a test drive. You won't be disappointed with the way it runs. Currently in Oakleigh South. Not being sold with the rego.
