THIS CAR HAS HAD A BODY OFF RESTORATION THAT HAS NOT BEEN FINISHED.

Please bare in mind the Photos with the body off are probably 10 yrs ago. the car has not been on the road since. I have purchased this a year ago and below is that sellers description. he failed to advise the fact it had been sitting around probably outside for a good few years. All other photos are 30-08-2013.

This is a one owner car for the last 21 years - yes 21 years. In that time the body was removed and virtually every piece of the frame and suspension was then galvanised. All necessary parts were then renewed with  all new rubbers. body mountings. bushes. the complete suspension front & rear. all ball joints. t/r ends. idler arm complete power steering. the lot. I've included a couple of shots of the rolling car before the body was put back on. I have more.

Al the same time the full drivetrain was cleaned and prepared ready to go back in. The engine was given new gaskets etc plus timing chain. fuel pump. high output starter etc. all service parts.  A full new exhaust was fitted with stainless boxes plus new chrome tube headers. All new hoses. belts etc. Also the whole brake system was replaced. m/cylinder. all rotors. flexies plus all new stainless calipers throughout. A new radiator was fitted. Every u/j on the car was replaced. All the power steering parts were renewed plus all steering etc from one side to the other. Believe it or not the guy reckons he spent something like £10. 00 in parts alone with Claremont Corvettes. There's loads of fresh chrome to the engine bay and it looks like he's even had the hood hinges. catches. support etc all cad plated. Even a new chromed alternator.

The body was then refitted and that's about as far as he got. The car is on the key. starts and runs well.   I don't think the new brakes were ever bled up. (Brakes now bled and fully functional 30-08-2013)

The car sits on factory alloys with all new lug nuts and centre caps. fitted with BFG's.

There's a box in the back containing the original seat belts plus a few other odds & sods. The car requires a full carpet set front & rear.   The paint is good enough to run as it is although. especially with the work so far carried out. a respray is definitely required. After saying that I've just had a good look at it and I think the bulk would come up with a good polish. it all depends how far you want to go. The engine bay  really is superb. Parts that I see missing other than the carpets include one of the interior door grab handles as well as the door weather-seals.  The tilt tele column is solid with none of the usual wobbles but the cowling does require flatting off and painting. Both electric windows work well. The park brake has been fully rebuilt and works perfectly.

This really is an opportunity for someone to complete the job. All the last guy's work wants a good check over plus a clean up from standing. There are the carpets & paint to sort out plus general detailing. You'd order at least new emblems. But with stock 77's now in the £12K plus bracket. just remember this car has been body lifted with the full undercarriage sorted. Even the insides of the doors have been fully gone through before the cards were put back on. You can easily go again with the rest of the interior or you can go down the renew everything route. and remember. one owner for the last 21 years.

On sale from a very low £-----. It should do loads more but it all depends how many folk out there realize the car's potential. I suppose it also depends how much free time you have as well as garage space.

Please remember that you are bidding to own this car. not to come and inspect. You are more than welcome to view and crawl all over it at any time throughout the auction. I'll even provide the coffee & trolley jack. I cannot take this amount of money through Paypal and will require payment before delivery either in cash. cheque or better still. bank to bank transfer.

The car is in My Villa in Alicante Spain. I would P/Ex per Ebay rules up or down for an interesting classic not needing much work.

would need collection with trailor
