1983 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series W123 300CD 300CDT 300 cd cat

Here i am selling our gorgeous 1983 Mercedes 300CD . We looked for over 1 year to find one this clean and were ecstatic when we did. This car has only 127k documented miles and it looks and drives accordingly. It was mostly garaged and it shows . This 300CD was finished in "light ivory" (MB-colorcode 623 ) with Palomino color MB-tex interior . It is a very elegant yet practical color combination.  The paint is still mostly original and it still shines like on a much newer car . The body is in wonderful condition without any accidents . The car was sold originally to the first owner in Santa Monica and for many years was serviced at Simonson in Santa Monica. It has always been a California car and there is no rust on it .  The interior is in very good condition . as the many pictures will show. There are no rips or tears in the seats and the padding is still firm. The carpets. door-panels and headliner are clean and even the original wood accents are still shining bright. The original radio was replaced with a newer unit featuring a CD player and a connection for your iPod or telephone. The speakers were upgraded within the original fittings.  This 300CD was always very well maintained and you can tell . once you drive it. It has great pick up and is not slow at all . There are no funny noises i can think of and it is truly a pleasure to drive. This car cruises comfortably at 85-90 miles an hour while still getting 25mpg of diesel .  The AC has been converted to the R134 type freon . The AC compressor was replaced and it blows cold from all the vents. All the gauges are working as intended. The vacuum system has been gone through and it works well . The power sunroof works as well as the cruise control. All the power windows work properly . even the back windows going up and down all the way .  I could not think of anything this car needs. If you have been looking for one of these beautiful W123 series coupes for a while . this one is for sure worth looking at .  I would prefer to sell this car locally to somebody who could actually come out and see it/ test drive it . But i would also be willing to help with shipping arrangements or an airport pick up for out of town buyers. All shipping fees would have to be paid by the buyer. This 300CD comes with a clear CA title. 2 keys. he stamped service book and the service records.
