ITS History.
 

For thirty years this car was parked in a storage building in a small town just north of Atlanta. Georgia.
An all ORIGINAL 1970 Mach 1. Calypso Coral. 428 Cobra Jet Engine equipped. a C6 automatic transmission. 300 posi rear end. loaded with all the options and with only 28. 00 miles!
As pristine as they get. this car was undamaged. no rust. no dents. no bondo. or modifications. the perfect candidate to restore.

With Laser straight original body panels. the car was totally disassembled and everything orange was taken to bare metal primed and painted.

Paint by Terly Picklesimer. using ultra high color PPG acrylic urethane paint. Original Ford Calypso Coral color. just like in 1970.

Motor by Dwight Powell. 428 Cobra Jet Engine. blue printed. balanced dyno run. This motor runs so good it will scare you.

Transmission by Dan Williams. a correct 4 speed 428 Mustang top loader using a Road Race Kit and loaded up with all new gears.
Also the Z bar. pedals. all linkage. fork. flywheel. clutch. throw out bearing. shifter. boot and a correct 1970 T-handle Hurst Shifter are brand new.

Rear end. new rear N-case. Traction Loc. 350 gears. 31 spline axles. bearings. etc. Master Ford Mechanic. Kirk Barker. disassembled the car into a thousand pieces. and everything that needed to be replaced was replaced.
New tires. wheels. brakes. power steering. radiator. gas tank. bumpers. suspension. shocks. springs. rubber. chrome. etc.

With 27. 30 actual miles this 1970 Mach 1 retains all of its original body panels. remarkable.
