The Comet has a rebuilt Inline 200 out of a 60's Mustang with zero miles (only driven around the block since installed) the Merc-o-matic Automatic Transmission shifted well with column gear selection. 12V wiring. needs a battery. rebuilt distributor. re-manufactured Carburetor and electric fuel pump.
This rare Comet is a lowered ride with de-arched reversed eyed leaf springs and blocks in the back and Jamco lowering springs in the front. Wide White Wall Tires on 13" Steelies with stainless hubcaps. New Drum Brakes with rebuilt rearend. The drivers side front flat glass rolls up and down but comes of track sometimes. while the windshield. back window. and the rest of the glass is chip and crack free. New dual exhaust exiting out the rear and sounds great.
The body is straight and solid shot in a Flat Lilac Purple with a Navajo White Roof. The beautiful interior is very comfortable. Ol'school Black "tuck and roll" wrap the plush seats. Dash. Black headliner. and matching door panels. and a Black carpet kit. The trunk is carpet lined. The body and rockers have no visible rot.
In a nut shell this is a one of a kind classic! Not quite a turn key cruiser. but very close. Bring a trailer or your choosen transport company and steal it away. This is not a museum quality car or trailer queen. but it will make a nice driver that will steal the show at any local gathering!
