Description

     Talk about a BAD STREET CAR! I'm selling my personal 1969 COPO Camaro recreation. No it's not one of the original 69 ever built. However. it will blow the doors clean off an original one. Over $85K was spent on this car. and I have the receipts to prove it. I'm not sure where to start. The body started life off as an original X-66 Big Block 396-375hp SS Camaro. The original Big Block. 4-Speed. nbsp;and GM 12 Bolt rear were replaced with the Best Money can BUY! The engine is now a Merlin 520-700hp Pump gas Street Monster. It has a hyd. roller cam. and Alum. Pro Top Line Heads. The factory Muncie 4-speed was replaced with a HD Richmond 5 Speed with straight cut gears. The GM 12 Bolt rear was removed and replaced with a 9 inch Custom Built Currie Enterprises Bullet Proof Rear. It has a 3:73 Ratio which is perfect with the 5-speed trans. Here is a list of some of the things this car has. Starting at the front. it has a BeCool alum. radiator. A March serpentine pully system. (won't sling off the Belt). an 100AMP alternator. MSD Ignition. Ceramic Coated Headers. power steering. HD front sway bar. K&N Breather. A Richmond Heavy Duty 5-Speed Transmission (straight cut gears). nbsp;A SFI certified Blow Proof Bell Housing. CSR Mini Torque Starter. Spicer Custom Built Drive Shaft. Complete Custom Built 3 inch stainless and polished Pypes exhaust system with x-pipe. a 9 inch Currie Custom built rear. Hotchikis Sport suspension. QA1 fully adjustable Shocks. stainless gas tank. Optima Red Top Battery. Moroso Master Kill Switch. etc.   etc.  

     Now to the Body. Very solid. very straight. origial all GM sheet metal. Factory Euro front bumper. front and rear spoilers. cowl hood. correct COPO Steel wheels with all 4 tires from Mickey Thompson. disc brakes. power steering. Original Color. (Olympic Gold).

     Now the interior. Correct Deluxe Interior with comfort weave seats. console with All Auto Meter Gauges. Auto Meter 160mph Speedometer and Auto Meter tach. Comfort Grip Steering Wheel. Auto Custom Sound System. etc. etc.

   This car built to look like a COPO Camaro. but run like a race car. It is both. It has the looks. and runs like no other Camaro out there. Even with the Mickey Thompson street tires on it. you can flat put on a show. Even from a 40 to 50mph roll. From the Merlin 520 engine. to the Currie 9 inch rear. this car is built to take all the punishment you want to give it. From a dead stop. or from a roll. this car will impress anyone. I have a new ZR-1 Corvette. and I'm not sure which is faster. Why Olympic Gold? Well everybody has a Black or Red one. And since the factory color was Olympic gold. then why not. It is one Beautiful 1969 Camaro. You can cruise anywhere at any speed and this car is a joy to drive. It runs on pump gas and runs cool in traffic. No dissappointments at all in this car. What's it worth? Good question. Just take my advise. and buy you one. and don't even think about building one! At the time your building one. if your like me. you think that you are never going to sell it. so you only buy the Best Stuff. Then. when your done. don't add up the receipts. lol.  

     I Drag Race and love Muscle. Believe me when I tell you that this car is Bullet proof. It only has 540 miles on it since built. however. they are not easy miles. I like to show off. and this car will do it. Try to fly in and let's go for a ride. I think you will be impressed. This car is not cheap. however. I am going to sell it for a ton less than it cost to build it! I just finished another toy. so as for right now. I will let this one go. I might consider a trade on this car. If I hold the car for you. I am considering it sold. so please don't send a deposit. unless you want the car!

A 2000. 00 non-refundable deposit must be sent after auction ends. Remaining balance must be paid within 10 days. If we end the auction for you the car belongs to you. Delivery is available by an independent company.

We are a Tennessee dealer. Therefore if you live in Tennessee. we will be collecting taxes at the current Tennessee rate!
