SELLER REMARKS

This is a mean build of a 1934 Ford three-window coupe with aggressive matte black paint. retro custom interior. and a performance 350 to give it an even meaner streak. So. we don't have to convince you how cool this coupe is. But after you see the low price. you realize it's everything you wanted to build yourself in an affordable package that's ready to go today.


Take a look at the restoration photos. You can see it started by taking a new fiberglass body and performance chassis and transforming it into one of the coolest and meanest customs on the streets. The paint you can't take your eyes off of is a matte black that is broken up by nice touches like the scallops on the roof. It gives this rod a tough-as-nails perception the moment it comes into view (and the iron cross taillights show it's attitude while pulling away. too!) There's only about 2. 00 miles since the build. so fit and finish remains good. You'll love discovering all the detail work like the custom pinstriping on the front surround and on the trunk. And while this hot rod is already bold enough. it can't resist some great brightwork in places like the grille. headlight pods. and the half-moon hubcaps.


Inside. is an aggressive interior that appears no-nonsense at first. but then you spot plenty of custom work. For example. the button-top seat looks like a rat rod special. but it's really a comfortable cloth that was installed during the build. And such low mileage also means little time to crease the seats. The door panels have that cool durable feel. right down to the leather strap "door locks". but then you discover the upgrade to power windows. The gloss red accent from the exterior returns to frame the dash. and keen eyes will even spot a pre-war Oldsmobile clock for decoration. But when it gets down to the business of driving. you have it nicely in hand with a three-spoke wood and chrome steering wheel. And beyond that is a full set of AutoMeter gauges so you know exactly what's going on with that V8 that's always in view.


An engine that's on display for the world to see should always be as special as this one. Once you see beyond the shine of the valve covers and the cool flames on the air grabber. you're looking at a high-compression L46 Corvette motor. The 350 cubic-inch V8 was famous in '69 for making as much horsepower as its displacement (350 HP). and today it includes upgraded components like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and electric fan. And everyone knows you have something special powering this hot rod the moment they hear the rumble of the glasspack-style dual exhaust. On the road. making sure you get the most out of the motor is the TH350 three-speed automatic transmission that was rebuilt around the same time as the car was completed. That feeds the stout Ford 9-inch rear end. and the rubber stays planted thanks to a four-link coilover rear suspension. Control is also well in hand thanks to front disc brakes and a modern BF Goodrich tread on those classic whitewall tires.
