For Sale: Felicity. the Austin Healey Sprite 64 MKIII

Felicity. my darling car born in 1964. has reached the end of her adventure with me and now it's time for her to find a new home.  

She is a beautiful. beautiful car. with so much personality. She's named Felicity from Felicity Shagwell in Austin Powers and really. I think that says it all.


For the mechanically minded. you'll need lots of details (down the page). but if there's a non-mechanically minded car lover out there. you'll need to know she's in British Green with beautiful British flag decals. a freshly painted shiny bonnet. a gorgeous wooden steering wheel and gear stick and mm mmm she sounds beautiful.


Ooh - and you get the British Leyland Manual to go with it.  


She's currently not registered and has been sitting for a period of time while the clutch was being done.  

She's now back up and running but as she's been sitting for some time. we'd recommend the new owner undertakes a full service and fluids check and change and any adjustments required.  


She's had a gentle life in with us in the Dandenong Ranges. Sunday morning drives  and attending Vintage Car Shows.

She has a little dint in the front left fender (photo). but other than that. her skin is really very good.

New Borg & Beck Clutch & pressure plate (0kms ago)

New clutch slave cylinder 

Roller clutch release bearing 

Replaced ring gear

Fitted Hi-Torque pre-engaged starter motor

New front callipers

New master cylinder

Stainless steel brake lines

New fuel pump

Electronic ignition (coil & distributer)

New radiator and hoses

Cylinder head (Bare)

New copper brake lines

original front callipers

original starter motor

original distributer

various gaskets and odds and ends




Pick up (ONLY) is from Mount Dandenong. 40 kms east of Melbourne. in the Dandenong Ranges.   Please note the suburb of Dandenong is an hour away from Mt Dandenong. They are two different places.

Is Felicity still for sale? I'm very interested. Would make a great replacement for the 1960 Mk1 bugeye.
