HISTORY:

DSO 61-Dallas. TX.   This car was original shipped to the Dallas. TX area and sold.   The previous owner was the second owner that purchased this car back in April 1967 from Jack Lewis Buick in Big Springs. TX and owned the car up to our shop taking possession.   The current Texas Title is a certified copy showing the original Lien and Lien date of 4-12-1967. original title date of 5-8-1967 and even comes with a lien release showing were the original lien bank changed names and has an updated lien release.   The second owner had said he towed the car few trips as that's why he purchased a manual transmission.

Details:

This is one of the most solid fastbacks our shop has come across.   This being an all North Texas car and low ownership and miles. she is a well above the average condition.   The previous owner over the past few years was working on doing some upgrades and getting her back on the road.   The upgrades like the Ceramic Tri-Y headers. Edelbock Intake and engine rebuild was done by the previous owner before we picked her up.   Once we got the car we decided to keep her as original as she has been and just complete some needed service and updates.   All of the interior was original when we got the car. but we decided to change out the carpet. kick panels and instrument cluster bezel as they were all just wore out from time.   In the engine area. we replaced the older Edelbrock carburetor with a brand new Edelbrock Carburetor. Flushed the fuel system. replaced the fuel pump with the early correct pump. installed new Hankook Tires. serviced the brakes. New Air Cleaner. new duel exhaust and replaced all fluids and filters.   Check out the pictures closely and you will see the original paint in the James. trunk and under the hood as the exterior has had one repaint.   When we replaced the carpet we took a picture of the floor and as you can see the original paint and how solid and original it is.   The trunk is also all original and perfectly solid as you can see in the pictures.   All of the Glass is also Ford Original Carlight Glass including the windshield.   The gasket around the glass for the windshield and rear glass have been replaced. at the time of her repaint.
