Vehicle Description

You are viewing a very clean 1967 Thunderbird “Suicide Door” Landau. This car is 95% factory original. Original 428 Ford engine. C-6 transmission and drive-train. The 428 still retains its original Auto-lite 4 barrel carburetor and stock air cleaner. A rare find due to the low miles and its exceptional original survivor condition. This T-Bird runs great and is amazing to drive.  The big 428 has enormous power and acceleration.  Sitting in the drivers seat is like being in a time capsule from 1967.  

Vehicle Condition

Mechanically the car starts up and runs great and has lots of power!  It floats down the road effortlessly and is a real joy to drive!  Odometer displays 45K miles which appears to be original.

The interior is all original and in great condition. The seat upholstery. nbsp;headliner and carpet are all very nice. All gauges and lights work. The vary rare factory AM/FM radio and power antenna works. 3 of the 4 power windows work. The right rear window motor engages but may need a new gear installed. Dash pad and headliner are in great shape.  The factory installed AC works (blows cool but could likely use a freon charge.  The frame is rock solid. nbsp;and even some of the factory undercoating is still present. There are no dents or signs of any past accident history.  The tail light assemblies including the lenses and all trim pieces were replaced with NOS parts a few years back. Both right and left tail lights are in near mint condition.  All 4 original factory “Spinner” wheel-covers are very nice. The bumpers and external chrome trim are all in amazing shape for a car this old – virtually no pitting. All the factory chrome moldings are on the car - no missing trim pieces.  

The car is super clean and the under-carriage/frame is rock solid - no corrosion issues. Frame is super straight - no evidence of any accident history.  

All the factory chrome trim is present and on the car. Both front and rear bumpers are nice and appear to still have their original factory chrome plating.  

This is a rare car in survivor quality condition and would make an exceptional investment that you can also drive and enjoy.   Don't miss out on a unique opportunity to own this vintage. 428 big block!

What the Car Needs

The car can certainly be driven today and enjoyed. There is some very minor rust on the lower quarters. My plan was to purchase some pre-formed patch panels. an easy install for any competent body guy. The vinyl top is showing some minor lifting in the right rear window area. The paint is decent but not show car level perfect.

The Buyer will be responsible for any and all applicable state and local fees. including title and registration fees in the state in which the vehicle is to be registered.

Pickup / Shipping

If the buyer wishes to ship the vehicle the buyer is responsible for making all shipping arrangements directly with their transport carrier. We will assist the buyer with scheduling vehicle shipment. If necessary. "temporary" short term (up to 21 days) storage is available until shipping/pickup can be arranged. We assume no responsibility should any damages be incurred after the vehicle is picked up by the buyer or the buyers shipping carrier. If the vehicle is going to be shipped. full payment must be received and verified before the vehicle is released to the buyer's shipping carrier.
