Exterior
As stated. she is a Metallic Blue 928 s 4 which is fast becoming an appreciating classic. This one has been with me for almost a year. but sadly. new work conditions and lack of storage spaces mean that I have to trim the fleet which consists of 6 vehicles and a motorbike. I cannot even blame the "It is me or the car" scenario.
Being a 25 year old car. she does have some blemishes and is not perfect. but she still looks great. If you are looking for a concours winner. she is not it. but if you are after a honest condition for her age. she is good. I will include a tin of Marine blue paint for touching up if you want. I have not used it. but it came with the car. Small bubble on bonnet.
All lights work. front and back. As always. they look great in the up position.
No cracked windows.
The window trim scrapers sometimes rise with the window. but I think that someone with a bit more skill than me (not difficult) would be able to sort it out.
Interior
Cream leather seats with Blue piping with some wear on the piping on the driver's side bolster. Not a great deal of wear. but this is common with these cars. Cream carpets are plush and original. There are overmats to prevent wear. Rear seats are great. Boot carpet is there. but no net.
Spare tyre. jack. etc. are there in the boot well.
When I got her. she had this awful silver. blue lit Clarion cd player (supplied)I then fitted her with a Becker Sat Nav/CD player 7945. these are seriously sought after and go for £600 plus. This system has deep amazing sound and also has bluetooth phone capabilities as well as Sat Nav. cd player and FM radio. These were fitted to Porsche. Ferrari and Maserati as an upgrade throughout the 90's. If a good price is reached. this will come with the car. if not. I have a VDO Navigon sat nav/CD player to replace it. this is new and was going in one of my other cars. but have not fitted it yet. I also have a set of 6 brand new Rockford Fosgate speakers (brilliant sound) to replace the old original speakers which work well. but are 25 years old. Again. these will come with the car if a decent price is met. She has a DAB aerial fitted if you want to fit a DAB radio.  There is a new internal aerial supplied. as the fitted one does not receive signal. I have supplied an fm ipod cable to play your iPod over the radio. There is also an X-carlink ipod adaptor for the Becker and handsfree microphone.
She now comes with an analogue clock (as fitted in the GT and GTS) instead of the dated 80's digital clock. This vastly improves the look of the dashboard. The original will come with if you want originality. Fuel gauge looks to be permanently on reserve which means the "!" light flashes to alert you.
She comes with a Momo wood and leather steering wheel. and again. for the right price. will come with an as new original "928" logo stitched steering wheel (rare as anything).

Aircon does not work. according to the garage. it needs a damaged pipe and a fan replaced. The great news is that the compressor still works (these are expensive to replace) and the system holds gas.
Everything seems to work well with the exception of the fuel gauge and the aircon.
Electrics and mechanicals
4 speed automatic gearbox (M-B) changes well. they are a little lumpy from 1st to 2nd if you are going slow. but at speed is as smooth as. Auto selection works well. New alternator (brand new Porsche item) this week (documented)New ECU fitted 2 years ago with 1 year warranty remaining (documented)Cam belt was done at 70000miles (documented)As stated. sunroof windows. lights all work. Boot release not working. Seat memory not working. Electric seats work well. Lighter socket works. Fuel gauge not optimal. Radio aerial not working. but DAB one does.
Drive
Amazing. she is rapid. seriously rapid. She sounds amazing and runs well. Does not overheat and oil pressure is good. She hardly uses any in any case. She brings a huge smile to your face and you just want to go. anywhere. anytime. In true GT fashion. she cruises well (Cruise control works perfectly). She brakes as expected (these were the fastest cars from 0-60-0 for many years). She lives in my garage and has been driven in the rain (anyone who lives in the UK and says otherwise is delusional). 0-60mph 5. 5s187mph top speed320 bhp.
Summary
In short. this is an amazing machine. yes. it has a few foibles. but the right person can get it sorted. A fast appreciating classic. these cars have a massive appeal to the discerning collector.
I am really sad to see her go and wish the new owner the joy that I have experience.
They say that you should not drive your childhood dreams as often they leave you feeling unfulfilled. well. not this one. when I can do so again and space permitting. I will most assuredly buy another one of these.
She also has a massive folder of paperwork. quite comprehensive detailing all work carried out. There is even the original order fax.
Unfun stuff
You bid to buy. there will be no haggling afterwards. Best offers will be seriously considered. Sale is final. A £200 non refundable deposit will be required within 24 hours of auction ending or offer acceptance. The balance will be required in cash or cleared bank transfer. Viewing is recommended. I am in North London.
Any non compliance will be met with the full use of ebay rules and I work on a name and shame policy unless mutual agreement is reached.
Car has been listed as honestly as I understand it to be from use up until list date. If this changes. the item will be ended and repaired and then offered again unless it is scrapped. then a parts sale will ensue. No warranty is implied or offered.
I recommend a test drive (proof of insurance and this allowing you to drive other cars) so please contact me to arrange an evening test in North London.
