Up for sale is a 1959 Mercedes-Benz 190SL roadster

Mercedes produced the 190SL from 1955 to 1963 in Stuttgart Germany.
In total a little over 25000 190SL were produced between 1955 and 1963. br /> but less than 4000 were produced in 1959. making this car. exclusive and rare.

Now is your chance to own one of these beauties.

This two-door grand touring convertible has been stored in a heated warehouse for about 20 years before being brought back to its current state. What seems to have been its original red color was completelly faded. We flushed the fuel tank and brought the powertrain back to life with surprising ease. It was given a proper tune-up and all of the mechanical components have been inspected and taken care of if they required attention. Brakes have been completelly redone.  

The body has been stripped to bare metal. being very careful of the car's aluminum body panels (trunk lid. hood (bonnet) and doors). It was then repainted in its original color. It has since been driven less than 100 miles.

The car offers a smooth ride and excellent handling. it is seldom used.
The original twin Solex carburetors will require a cleaning. rebuild and tune as the car's idle is a bit off.
She purrs like a kitten as long as we keep the idle speed a little over the factory specs.

At that time a non-refundable deposit of $1000. 00 will be required to secure the vehicle. Non payment of the deposit within 48 hours of auction close will result in theauction being relisted or offering the car to the next highest bidder.

Complete payment of the auction (including any applicable fees and taxes*) must be paid within 5 business days of auction close. We accept payment by bank wire transfer. certified check. bank draft. Anticipate an extra delay in releasing the vehicle if you pay by check or draft as these will need to be verified.

Vehicle delivery will not be initiated until all financial transactions are completed. The winning bidder is responsible for picking up and shipping the vehicle.
