1963 was the first year of the C2 body style. To many. this IS the iconic Corvette.

I purchased this car approximately one year ago from a neighbor whose husband had passed away. They relocated from San Diego CA to Arizona in the last couple years.   They had owned the car for over 28 years. I have receipts going back to 1992 for items and work done to the car.  The Corvette had been sitting for a couple years and needed some restoration.   I have done a significant amount of work on the vehicle in the last year. some performed by myself. a large portion done by Bromley's Corvettes in Tempe AZ.   I have complete receipts of all work performed. I have over $20K in work done to the car since I have owned it. My intent was to use this car as a Sunday driver. I wanted it to be reliable. easy to drive. etc. Other business opportunities have come up and I need to sell it.

 Interior – Car interior is blue vinyl. original factory seats. It is in very good condition. Car does have factory power windows. Only 3742 63' Corvettes came with power windows. Carpet is new and factory correct. Hushmat sound insulation was installed at this time. New door panels were installed. Dash pad was replaced and is correct.   All gauges work. including the clock. however the temp gauge does read high. Dash lights work.   Wipers do not work and are unplugged at this time. Rockford Fosgate audio system was installed with front and rear speakers. 400 watt 4 channel amplifier. Complete dash harness was installed.   Headlights. turn signals and brake lights work.

 Exterior – Car has been repainted in the last 30 years.   Color is Daytona Blue. which is numbers correct. Paint is still shiny. but a small spider crack has developed on the hood. A few small chips are present. Driver quality & a good 5-7 footer. No body damage present. Panels fit well. gaps are good. doors close nicely. Bird-cage is rock solid as is the frame.   Headlights open and close as they should. lamps work correctly. Chrome bumpers are very good to excellent. Trim around the windshield is good. Complete wire harness installed. Sale includes two complete sets of tires and wheels. Original 1963 Corvette wheels with hubcap and American Racing Torque Thrust wheels. Pictures show each set installed on the car.  

 Engine/Transmission – NOM 350 Chevrolet small block. Edelbrock Torker manifold. Quickfuel 4 barrel carb. Pertronix ignition.  Engine runs great. no smoke. no leaks.   Upgraded high output alternator added along with an Optima Red Top battery. The main engine wire harness was replaced.   Car does have Power Steering. which makes driving a classic Corvette great. All power steering components were rebuilt with new hoses. fluid. control valve. pump.   Powerglide transmission had a full rebuild and new torque converter installed.   New starter installed.  

 Suspension /Brakes-  Front-end suspension completely rebuilt with poly bushings. Rear suspension completely rebuilt with poly bushings. KYB shocks installed. New Composite rear spring installed. new adjustable rear strut rods installed.   Drum brakes completely rebuilt. Car stops straight and true every time.
