1967 Chevrolet Corvette

Up for auction is a 1967 corvette coupe. I ended my previous auction earlier because it is not an original motor car and I listed it was. The engine has the correct casting number. but the car was built dec 5 1966 and the engine was built in 1967. It is a 327 and runs great. Does not knock. blow blue smoke. over heat. or have any loud lifter noise. It has a mild cam that was installed before my father purchased the car in 1983 along with the headers. It sounds great especially at an idle. It is an original 4 speed car and the transmission does not crunch. grind or have any noises it shouldn't. If you would like numbers off of it let me know and I will get them. The rear differential is also in good condition. The frame is in very good condition. It is solid as can be where the rear trailing arms attach and is solid in front of the rear wheels. I can send pics of any area you like and it is solid with no holes guaranteed. The paint is the original color. not original paint. If you want to show it. you need to paint it. There are scratches. chips. and checking in many areas. If you were to use some touch up paint. it would look much better. The paint is not falling off or anything like that. It is a of driver quality not show. There appears to be some previous work by the right gill which can be seen in the picture. If you want more pictures. ask and I will send. I looked in all 4 corners and do not see any major repair work and didn't appear to be hit in the corners. Once again ask for any pictures with any areas you would like to see better. I have over a 100 in my phone off different areas but could only post 24.   The tach. oil. amp meter. temp. uel. wipers. radio. dome light. 4ways. turn signal. headlights. high and low. brake lights heater all work. Reverse. clock and speedo do not work. The car has factory power windows that are not working but they did. I will check the fuse and at least diagnose the problem and update the post. The brakes are weak. I will bleed them and update the post by Wednesday. I'm sure you will need to do brake work for it to be safe. The front tires were on it when he bought it and the rears are probably 25 years old. You will need tires. The interior is 50 years old and will need carpets. seat covers. and door panels. Seat and door panel on right side are still good. but will not look right with half new and half old. The dash is not cracked and in nice shape. The steering wheel is not cracked and is original. The horn needs toyed with to work. I believe contacts need cleaned. The master cylinder. carb. headers and wheels are not original and either is the air cleaner. The bumpers and chrome are in decent condition. They are not show quality but excellent driver quality. Stainless is good around windows. All glass is excellent. I will not cancel the auction early. again lol. I didn't think it was fair to the people bidding when I misrepresented the car the first time and it was not intentional. Balance due within 5 business days. The car is not leaving until funds are in my fathers account and verified by our bank. Clean PA title in hand. $125 doc fee. I can not stress enough. ask all the questions you need because I want the buyer to be happy and I will answer honestly. The headlight have been left up for years because the last time he went raise and lower them they went very slow so the motors will need repaired. The gears are fine and can do them manually.
