One of the best years for Cadillac was 1955.

The cars were getting more powerful every year and the  quality was far better than the earlier years.

Here we have my 1955 Cadillac series 62 convertible. It has undergone a major restoration. Motor has been fully reconditioned and was balanced when built. Carburettor overhauled. Travelled less than 600 miles.  The brakes are all new with new lines . Stainless steel sleeved wheel cylinders and new brake shoes. nbsp; drums machined . new steel brake lines and new rubber brake hoses. Reconditioned stainless brake master cylinder. reconditioned brake booster. silicone brake fluid used. Complete new exhaust system. Rear springs replaced. new rear shocker absorbers. new eye bushes. and pins. /span>

and spring shackles. Front suspension fully rebuilt new shockers and new front coil springs. Steering box overhauled and kit fitted. New wide white wall tyres fitted. Front and rear bumpers chromed. New old stock soft top.  

Finally body was striped and repainted. the chassis has been cleaned and the original paint markings are still present.
