1961 Chrysler 300G Convertible
Rare Automobile. Only 337 Produced. This is a 2 owner car first being sold new to a Doctor in Lemon Valley California and in the early 80's the car was purchased and brought to Jacksonville Oregon where it went through a ground-up restoration. Used very little since completion. The correct 413ci 400hp Cross Ram dual 4bbl carb engine runs very smooth. This is a very powerful car for its time and is impressive to drive. Push button Automatic Transmission shifts nice and tight. Power Steering and Power Brakes. Power Windows. Power Seats that also Swivel for easy entry. Power Top. Radial Wide White Wall Tires. Dual Exhaust. Working AM Radio.
Glass. chrome. rubber. plastic. carpet are all in great shape. The paint has a few areas that have scratches that were touched up (see photo) but you have to get real close to see them. I would consider the paint to be a “9” out of “10” due to the small touched up areas.
Summary: This is a beautiful car that has been well restored and is ready to drive. I have driven several collector cars and this one stands out and would be a great addition to any collection. a real pleasurable automobile to drive.
