This is your chance to own an original. unrestored 911 Carrera Convertible. This vehicle has a genuine 56k miles with all of the paperwork to back this up. I have every single MOT certificate issued to this car which substantiates the mileage; it still has the original toolkit. maintenance equipment and a colour coded cover for the roof to protect it while it is down. the space saving spare looks totally unused. This 911 has NOT been renovated or restored. what you see is all original.  All the paintwork is original as is the Leather upholstery front and rear. the rear seats fold down for additional luggage and gives it that 2 seater look. Even the exhaust is the original from the factory as delivered 25 years ago and still in good condition. and it still has the original cassette tape holders.
This car is a 1988 model (the 25th anniversary of the 911). Gearbox is a G50 and is smooth and tight. the Engine is clean and tight and has that Porsche Aircooled Whine. it really does sound fantastic. and its hardly run in really if you think about it. Engine bay is really clean and the headers are like new as you can see in the photo and yes the heater does work very well indeed. The underside has been waxoiled regularly and originally it was undersealed. there is no rust under there.
Roof is Electric and it has Electric Windows. Electric Mirrors and Electric seats (the drivers seat does make a bit of noise. but I have only used it once as I am the only driver). The car has central locking. an alarm and a Porsche electronic key immobiliser. It has NO power steering or A/C so all the 231 BHP engine output is put to the back wheels and with a car that weighs only 1160Kg that's a lot of BHP.
The paintwork is Metallic Granite Green (That's more Grey than Green) and the leather upholstery is finished in green with red piping. this is truly a stunning looking. totally original vehicle. whoever looks at this car will buy it and will not be disappointed. It has an MOT  from July 2013 on it which it passed without a hitch (only a couple of advisories for minor things and these have been sorted by a Porsche Garage). as it does every year. has just been serviced (July 2013) and the Tax is OK until October 2013.
This car has been displayed at Goodwood twice this year and once last year. It has no special enhancements save for a K&N air filter. Chrome Porsche Gear knob and CD Stereo with Blue Tooth. the speakers are a bit rubbish but this could be in the stereo fitting (to be honest I don't use it as I prefer to hear the engine tone) and is an honest example which is simple in construction and easy for any Independent Porsche Specialist to maintain at a minimal cost. This model of 911 is a real drivers car. Obviously a test drive would be advised in order for you to appreciate this car and this can be arranged. sorry no solo test drives.
I purchased the car about 2 years ago and it is lovely to drive and really does turn heads; unfortunately she has to go to make way for a project I have coming up. but I really am not desperate to sell. if I have to keep it and do my project the hard way which will take a bit longer. so be it. I am open to offers but please don't expect to pay £10k for a £30k car. I am also not interested in PX or swaps for another car if I wanted a car I really wouldn't swap this one for anything. I would just keep it.
