1967 Ford Mustang

Up for bids is this 1967 ford mustang coupe. This would make great start to someone who is wanting a driver or hot rod to build and have a nice play toy. This would be a big boys toy or big girls toy whoever wants it. It was born with your normal 289 2 barrell but was upgraded to a 351 4 barrel engine. This car was restored in the last 10 years then sat up. I am going to assume it was something someone got burned out on and didn't really want or it had to much power for someone. It has alot of upgrades on the drivetrain. It has a hurst slap shifter. racing oil pan. 4 barrel aluminum intake. 4 barrel carbureator. The motor was suppose to been built and does not have many miles on it. It has power steering. It has a nice alpine cd player. I don't have any receipts but I would guess there is about $4000 in the motor and all the other stuff on it. The interior is decent. The paint is faded. It has decent tires on it. I have driven it around the block but that is about it. It will need a bigger radiator to support the motor. It is not big enough for the car. The car runs good. idles good. brakes work good. mechanically it seems to be okay. It will need to be checked out and fine turned before its ready for a long road trip. I am selling this as a project which means it still needs work. Like I said this would make a nice driver or hot rod not a show car numbers matching all original car. The body is decent and straight. The body lines match up. All the glass is good. It does have some rust issues. The floor pans have some soft spots in places and the front torque boxes have some rust in them.
