As you can see from the images this XJS is in stunning condition inside and out. It was restored in 1995 with a bare metal respray (Photos available) and is still in great all round condition with only 90. 00 miles on the clock. backed up by a huge number of previous MOT certificates and tax discs.

The bumpers were replaced when it was restored with later ones with chrome inserts and the car has also been fitted with a set of 5 lattice alloys which are in as new condition.

The previous owner to me bought it to take to local classic events and shows with the car winning some car club trophies and shields including the Jaguar Drivers Club Norwich Union Trophy.

I purchased the car in September last year to take part in a classic car rally. completing 1500 faultless miles in a 4 day event around the UK (in a considerable amount of style and comfort!).

This was going to be a keeper but my financial circumstances have changed and so sadly my XJS has drawn the short straw and has to go to a new home.

It is garaged and currently SORN but has a current MOT until September 2013. I may put 6 months tax on it though as it would be a shame not to take advantage of the longer evenings now that the gritters have been put to bed for the spring.

Everything works as it should and the panels are all straight with no dents or scratches. The interior is in great condition with just a tiny 1 inch bit of the stitching on the driver's seat coming loose but no tears or excessive wear. It even still has the original steering wheel.

It starts on the button. has smooth gear changes and of course drinks fuel like a tanker. but this is offset by the looks you get and the huge amount of fun it is to drive. There is a small knock when going over bumps from the LHS mostly when cold and since the rear shocks. radius arms & bushes are new. this is likely to be the exhaust or an exhaust mount touching the body which I will look at over the weekend.

Please come and have a look as photographs always make cars look shiny (although it is). But seriously. if you are looking for  straight Pre HE XJS then this is likely to be one of the best and so if this is what floats your boat & you are considering making an investment. then you would be foolish not to want to see the condition for yourself.
