Hi guys. Unfortunately I'm heading overseas and therefore selling off my stuff! This means there's a HUGE bargain to be had!! I am really sad that I have to sell it now. especially with all the work I've just finished on it.
-Apologies for the photos. they're a little bit grainy. Will upload others soon.
This listing is for my 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe. It has had THOUSANDS $$$$ spent on it. It features a seriously worked motor and a few exterior and interior restomod parts.
It was imported last year and since it has sat in my garage whilst I worked on it each sunday. and consequently kept spending lots of money and upgrading parts. The engine is out of an '86 Mustang- a 5. 0 EFI so it has good strong internals. The injectors were taken off and 650 holley carb put on instead with electric MSD ignition. Good reliable firing and a very reliable motor!
It starts up on the turn of the key and the motor purrs nicely. It has hooker performance extractors leading to a 3" custom exhaust which gives it an awesome rumbling note!
The gearbox is a fully refurbished C4 auto (by David at GC Trade Exchange transmissions) with a NEW heavy duty - high stall torque converter. These 2 just cost me $1900! The gear selector is a B&M shifter.
I have installed brand new seatbelts (front and rear) and child restraints for Australian compliance.
The cooling system has all new hoses and an aluminium radiator with twin electric fans. there's no overheating!!
The fuel system- new lines. tank. electric fuel pump.
Interior seats are in great condition. There is a brand new stereo installed with high quality cables leading to 6"x 9" speakers mounted on the read shelf.
Disc brakes on the front. drum brakes on the back. Both have been serviced and new fluid for the disc brakes.
Brand new high quality Heavy duty battery.
Brand new starter motor.
Body is pretty straight with not much rust. The paint job however is fairly poor. With a good polish the paint job would be fine for a cruiser. But if you want it to be a showroom car then I'd suggest getting it resprayed.
Electrics have a new wiring loom from a later mustang. The dash has a Dakota digital gauge.
Brand NEW Showwheels Thrashstars with NEW 100% tyres!
Custom grill.
Custom bonnet.
It even has new wiper blades!
So to summarise the worked engine. 302 (EFI)650 Holley carbMSD electric ignitionHiPower leadsEdelbrock manifoldHooker extractorsB&M flywheelHigh flow performance exhaustNew performance air filter and housing. New belts. Refurbed C4 autoNew HIGH stall (heavy duty) torque converter.
The whole engine was completely rebuilt last year. Starts on the turn of the key and is reliable because its an 80's engine!

What it needs:
- Needs a REAR handbrake cable. I've already installed a new front handbrake cable which goes from the cabin to the underside of the car. but all you need is the attaching cable which leads to the wheels. - Occasionally the dakota digital gauges play up. When starting the car. the Speedo and RPM (sometimes!!) just counts up. This is because the power cable is mounted too close to the other cables. It's a simple 10 minute job to do. I may get round to fixing it this week if I have time. - Wing mirrors! (Chrome bullet mirrors are about $70 a pair on ebay. )- The window winder handles on the front are a bit crap. But still work. Replace if you're fussy. Back window winders work perfectly.

So there it is. an awesome classic with a LOT of work done on it to make it a great fun ride. I have the import approval papers and all you need to do now is a couple of the little jobs listed above and then take it to get its roadworthy and engineers report and away you go.
This is going to be a bargain for someone! I have to leave the country within the next 2 weeks so I am really sad to see it go. but I'm certain it's going to be a great car for whoever picks it up.
Located in the Gold Coast. I'm happy to help with interstate shipping.
