1948 Chevrolet Thriftmaster 1/2 Tonne Pick Up Truck. Much Loved And Regularly Used. Imported From Sunny California In 2009 And Owned By Me Ever Since. Fully UK Registered And Road Legal With (Free) Tax Until 30/11/2013. Now MOT Exempt. But All Old MOT's Present. Log Book Is Present And In My Name. Original Import Papers Present And All Duties Paid. Fitted With 5. 7 Litre 350 cu" Chevy V8. Running Through 3 Speed Column Shift Auto Gearbox. Power Steering And Power Brakes. Very Reliable. Great Starter And More Than Quick Enough To Keep Up With Modern Traffic. New 'Period' Speedo Fitted. Paintwork Is NOT As Good As It Looks In The Photo's. But The Truck Is Very Solid As You Would Expect From California. I Always Liked It The Way It Is. Best Described as Shabby Chic!Genuine Private Sale Due To Down-Sizing My Car And Bike Collection. Not Really Sure If I Want To Sell This One. So Running A 3 Day Auction With No Re-listing! Starting Price Is What I Paid For It And Worth Every Penny. If It Does Not Sell I Will Take That As A Sign That I Should Keep It!
