This is one of the first 50 ever made. which are extremely rare now.
The first 50 had washer jets on the bonnet rather than on the scuttle panel. and this is also a 4 speed model (again very rare now).

Over 25. 00 XR3's were produced. and only 77 XR3's are currently road registered in the UK - TOTAL!
This example has to be one of the best around. if not the best around.

The car has covered just over 27. 00 miles from new. and is in fantastic condition as can be seen in the pictures.
As you would expect from a car with such low mileage. it drives absolutely faultlessly. everything feels very tight and responsive.
Exactly as it did the day it left the production line.

The underside of this car is brilliant. the car really has to be seen to be appreciated!

A very rare opportunity to purchase a rare and sought after. appreciating classic Ford. which would no doubt win shows.
This car has got to be. the very best condition XR3 left in existence.

The car comes with full service history. the original Ford handbook. Sales brochure. and a folder full of history. and receipts etc

First to see will buy. this is in very good condition indeed. and is not the 'usual' car with hidden rot / mechanical problems etc.

Exterior:
This car has fantastic paintwork. the car has had some small touch ups in places. but these have been done well. and the car fantastic.

No parking dents to speak of. and the red paintwork still gives a great shine.
No signs of rust anywhere on the car.

Unlike many older cars. the glass has no damage or scratches!

Interior:
The original seats are in superb condition with no softening of the bolsters. they have no rips or tears anywhere.
The original carpets are also immaculate. along with the headlining.

All switches and gauges work as they should.

The stereo has been replaced with a Ripspeed dvd head unit. but this is easily replaced with an original for a low cost.
All door cards are like new. again with no imperfections.

Boot looks like it has never held any luggage. as it still looks like new.
Even the cigarette lighter and ashtray have never been used.

Dash has a couple of small cracks at the very front (these are very common. and certainly not bad) Engine/Transmission:
The engine runs perfectly well. and starts first time every time.
No modifications have been carried out on the engine. other than a exhaust system which gives a nice note (nothing loud).

The car also benefits from a brand new genuine Ford alternator.

All tyres are of a premium brand and have plenty of tread. and wheels are in very good condition with no kerbing.

This car gets lots of attention. people wave and flash in admiration. and always comment on the condition of the car.
These are very rare now. and could easily be seen as an investment which will bring a profit if looked after and used as a summer car.
