Up for auction we have a real classic. the Ford Model T 4 seat Tourer.

This particular car was manufactured in the final year of Model T production and as such benefits from the many upgrades that featured on the very late cars. These improvements include; the re-siting of the fuel tank to the cowl above the driver's knees to help alleviate problems with the gravity feed fuel system on hills (earlier cars have the fuel tank under the seat). re-styled bodywork utilising less wood in the frame. larger doors. larger rear emergency brakes. wider transmission brake drum and wire spoked wheels.

The car retains its original trembler coil ignition system and even runs on magneto. A period accessory front bumper has been fitted at some time by a previous owner.

The car is best described as an older restoration and overall. the car is in good condition. The paint has been touched up in some places and the top has a small hole that could easily be patched. The interior is free from rips. This car is ready to use but could benefit from a little tlc over time to improve it further.

I can spend some time teaching buyers how to drive the car as they are not the same as conventional cars!
