The 1962 Ford Thunderbird seems to hit that sweet spot in classics. The design of these third-gen T-birds have the sleek lines. plenty of room to carry everyone. and this one has been cared for correctly like a vintage droptop should. Best of all. the price is irresistible.


This is about showcasing that brief time in automotive history when designers ruled over engineers. and they got to build the cars they wanted. A sleekly rounded hood that ends at a point to give the Thunderbird a true beak. A chrome line that runs from the front point to the tailfin. Those jet-inspired taillights that are prominent thanks to a bright bumper that tapers inwards. All the intricate design work needed to be as complete and straight as this T-bird is to really make an impression wherever it goes. And when it comes with its full brightwork and its factory-correct Corinthian White. this convertible has a Lincoln-like level of sophisticated presentation. It has led a cared for life. including restoration work that was done midway through. so its caretakers have been invested in its collectability over the decades. And we can understand why. because more than just looking good. it's a rare vehicle. With less than 10. 00 produced in '62. there are not many that survived so nicely today. Some of our pictures show a very cool matching white tonneau cover that goes over the back seats. No. this is not one of the ultra-rare Sports Roadster models. Instead. this one offers the versatility of a back seat and a much more reasonable price. But you can still wow your friends with the removable fiberglass cover when you want.


The factory-correct blue metallic vinyl interior is the perfect complementing color on this droptop (after all. you're going to be showing it off a lot!) It has the kind of cool seat color that could only come from the '60. but it also has a subtle elegance of good stitching and complementing hues. Buckets seats and a center console continues this feeling of high-end luxury. The beautiful round gauges have an elegant look with each in their own pod. and the band of anodized aluminum trim stretching across the dash and into the doors adds some nice flair. When the tonneau cover is off there's plenty of room in back for full-sized adults. You get original features like the AM radio. heat/defrost sliders. and power locks. but there are three we know you'll love the best. The combination of the power windows and the power convertible top means you can go from enclosed luxury to wind-in-you-hair without ever having to leave the driver's seat. And finally the Swing-Away steering column makes it uber easy to get out of the car!


Ford's large 390 cubic-inch V8 was standard equipment in 1962. and this one is even believed to be the original motor. Advertised with 300 horsepower on tap. it moves this cruising convertible around with ease. It fires up nicely with an authoritative hum out of the dual exhaust that seems perfect for this mature T-Bird. The engine bay is quite stock. and that's a good thing. because Ford dressed its premium cruiser with a bright oversized air cleaner and Thunderbird-specific valve covers. The Cruise-O-Matic auto trans. power steering. and power brakes all work in harmony to help keep the ride luxurious. Plus. those original-style wheel covers hide modern Goodyear tires that give this Thunderbird better grip than any 60s-style rubber.

Once we have received the funds. we will prepare the car for international shipment through one of our approved land and ocean carriers. We file all the necessary documents for export. deliver the car to a US port. secure it in containers and board an ocean carrier. We can land a vehicle to any port worldwide handling container traffic. We export cars regularly and are familiar with export requirements. You. or your agent. are responsible for Custom clearing the vehicle and registration in your own country.
