1958 Chevrolet Impala

Here's one you dont come across often! A 1958 Chevy Impala 2-door Hardtop with only 1. 00 Miles!  Rio Red exterior with red tri-color vinyl and cloth interior.  Amenities include. but are not necessarily limited to the following: correct Super Turbo-thrust HA-Code 348cid/280bhp V8 engine with 3x2-barrel carburetors; automatic transmission; posi-traction rear-end; dual exhaust; power steering and brakes; power windows; power seat; MPH. temp and fuel gauges; clock; continental kit; original AM radio and dual antennas. The tires are a matched set of American Classic P215/75R14 whitewall radials. mounted on steel wheels with hubcaps. all in excellent condition.  

MECHANICAL: We found that the engine started easily and idles smoothly. The automatic transmission works well and shifts easily. and the brakes pull the car to a straight stop when applied. The steering is smooth and the car tracks straight down the road. We also found that all the mechanicals are in working order.   

EXTERIOR: The exterior physical condition of this car's sheet metal is excellent with no dings. dents or rust and all the body panels appear original to the car. The car was repainted Rio Red. its original color. and it is in excellent condition. It was professionally done and has a mirror gloss finish. but there are a couple of minor chips. The chrome and stainless trim around the car is all new or has been refinished and is in very good to excellent condition. There are no chips or scratches in the glass and all the rubber seals are new.   
INTERIOR: The new tri-colored red upholstery. door panels. and headliner are in excellent condition. The new red carpets and padded dash are in excellent condition. The steering wheel. gauges and trim all have been restored and look excellent.  

ENGINE COMPARTMENT & TRUNK: The engine and engine compartment had been restored and detailed to “like new” condition. but now are showing a little deterioration due to minor use and age. There are chips and stains on the engine and intake manifold. but no corrosion or surface rust on the metal or bolts. The paint and rubber mat in the trunk are new and in excellent condition.   

CHASSIS: The undercarriage had been restored and detailed to “like new” condition. but now are showing a little deterioration due to minor use and age. There is a small amount of surface rust on bolts and clamps. as well as steering components and the gas tank. The exhaust system is in very good condition.   

This 1958 Chevrolet Impala 2-door hardtop is a very good to excellent example of a restored car with a    CONDITION CODE OF: #1-2
