FORD CAPRI 2000 GT BLUE.V4 Never welded.1972. Historic vehicle. Free Tax

Up for auction is my beautiful 1972 Ford Capri. This is very very nice but is not mint. I have owned her about three years now and spent good money on renovation work. This really is an eye catching Capri.  I have had her resprayed approx 3 year ago when i first got the car. beautiful metalic Blue.  I have also had the seats & door cards recovered. The seats look great in blue with cream piping. There are a few blemishes on the paint. I mean a few. nbsp;the worst being on the lower o/s wing. See pic. This car was treated with Zebart oil from new. This is the reason the car has not been welded. it really has done its job well.  There is a new roof lining ready to be fitted. I also have the full set of original wheels. All with good tyres. She has a set of 15" low profile mini lites with good tyres. (fitted & go with the car) They hold the road very well. The back end will not "kick out" unless you really give it some boot. I do have a tin of toutch up paint. saved from when the car was resprayed. (unopened & unused). The downpipes were replaced 2 years ago. As was the battery. lugs points. tarter motor. ( This sometimes sticks but only when not used for a while) and other bits & bobs. The car was striped & re built. 2 owners ago.   (Almost a full strip down & rebuild) This car has Never been welded. I would score her 8. 5 out of 10 at this present time. The temp gauge is not working. its not the dial on the dash. 6 pod dash. everything else is working. I would drive this car anywhere. with no worries of it letting me down. nbsp;sounds great with the Cherry bomb. I also have the original back box. Magnets & Mechanics all welcome.   The engine is a 2000 V4 stage 2. The engine was fully rebuilt by Purfleet Engines. I have a sheet with all the spec. Engine sounds a little "Cammy" at around 1500 revs. but then dies off. nbsp; This has always been the a little noisy. was the same when the previous owner had her. . Will sit straight  and with no juddering at high speed.   (80mph plus)This car even at 40 years old can still cut the mustard & will sit on the outside lane at 80mph. no problem.  There is a slight juddering when braking. May be ready for a new front disk.  All in all a fantastic car that can be used daily with free road tax. Any inspection is welcome. May take a Harley (Not Sportster) in exchange . Diesel Day van  (American) or a classic Scooter. or cheaper Classic car. The new owner will not be disapointed . Car has MOT until October. 12 months Free road Tax. The auction includes the original Wheels & the new roof lining. Just to add the car is nice & dry with no leaks. The bulkhead. arches. inner  wings etc all good with no filler.
