YES GENUINE 

FORD ESCORT RS2000 MK2 REG MARCH 1978

This car has been stored in a garage for the last 22 years since it was damaged on the front drivers wing.

But dont worry there is a genuine ford wing. the original nose cone with a few splits in it. a spare original ford nose cone in excellent condition. A front panel plus a new door skin and 2 outer sills.

I was told the engine was rebuilt and bored to 2. 1. Although there is no proof of this the engine has no rattles. il leaks. apping or smoking. It is fitted with a vernier pully. &n filter plus a competition exhaust system that appears to be new less the surface rust of 22 years. It still has packing tape around the back box.

The engine runs like a dream. It will need a new water pump as the seal has gone and is spraying out water.

I have not drove the car due to this. The car drove into the garage so with a new waterpump it will drive again.

The interior is in excellent condition for the year with the main wear on the drivers bolster.

The dash and rear spoiler have no cracks or damage to them.

The 5 alloys are polished rims with no kerb marks on them and are all fitted with good tyres.

The chassis has had no signs of welding and is in excellent condition. nbsp;the floor pans are in good condition. ith only a few minor patches been welded in. were the floor meets the inner sill.

The boot floor is in vgc. as is the spare wheel well. The back quarter under the fuel tank will need replacing

The car has not been lowered so is standard ride height . he front springs are uprated items.

The original engine is still in the vehicle as the number matches the chassis number.

I have a copy of the hand written log book as well as the new one in my name.

The bad points

Drivers front wing damage ( no chassis damage ) new original ford wing to replace it and front panel as its got minor damage 

Drivers door damage (dented and caught on front wing) new door skin.

Drivers back quarter is dented. See pic's

Window screen is cracked.

Seat belts and centre consule missing.

Body work will need lots of attention as there are lots of small scabs on the edges and a few areas will need to be cut back and welded up to make mint. This will not be a ten minute job. The front crossmember is beginning to rust as well.

If you want it to be mint again then be prepared to live in your garage for the next 3/6 months and get permission of the miss's.

I have described the car as best possible.

Hi everyone

The floor carpet is in excellent condition with no rips that i have seen.

There is also a boot carpet and the inner wheel arch carpets.

I forgot to say in the ad that there is only 1 front indicator and no headlights due to accident damage.

The front underside of the bonnet is also rotten.

The car will now remain on ebay till the end of the auction so please dont phone me with silly offers.
