Car was purchased locally in June 1948 and has always remained in the local area. I am the 4th owner but the 2nd operator.

I have owned the car since Aug 1987 and being a retired mechanic. I have done all the restoration/upgrading except paint and upholstery which was done by local outside contract.

I have equipped the vehicle with a 283ci engine. 350 transmission and installed a 1998 98 Olds rear end with 348 gear about 2 years ago. Vehicle is equipped with Vintage Heat & Air. Cruse control. 16 in Centerline wheels with good year tires and some upgrade and modifications to the interior. This is a show driver. never trailered. I have driven the car about 35. 00 miles since it went back on the road in 1989.

Reason for selling:  The first car owned by my wife and I was a 1948 Oldsmobile and we bought and built this car for that reason. we went to many shows and traveled many miles.   My wife died last September and I no longer have an interest in the car and have driven it less than 10 miles in the last year.   I am asking $20. 00 but will consider reasonable offers.   I may be contacted at 706-304-4128 for questions about the vehicle.

I will consider driving the car to the buyers home at the buyers expense.   An immediate  $500. 00 non refundable deposit is required through Pay-Pal for an accepted offer with the remainder payable upon delivery/shipment by cash or funds to my bank.

This car is in excellent condition. I would not hesitate to fill the tank and move out to any point in the US on a moments notice although the car has no warranty expressed or implied.

The vehicle may be inspected at most anytime but please call to arrange the date and time.

The car is listed for sale only through e-bay. so please don't ask me to sell otherwise.
