This is a mostly complete and very original car I have had in my collection for some years.   Now offered for sale. (Listed in eBay. com as well)
The bodywork is a rare Special Autenrieth Cabriolet with a beautiful smooth back offering a very pretty and practical boot at the rear. instead of the common spare wheel. The original color was light cream. having been painted grey over that once. Original chassis number plate intact with clear chassis number on frame. Clear body number with the digit "/8" suffix. and corresponding number on the different components. hence a 100% original pre war 327/8 BMW.
The car has gone through complete chassis and body restoration; chassis frame completely restored. new ash frame fitted and all original body panels professionally restored and fitted. with the exception of the engine bonnet. which remains the original alloy still needing restoring. The body is now 100% renewed. with new ash frame and absolutely no rust anywhere.
The engine is the original 328 Spec. comes complete with triple carbs and all components. Engine needs reconditioning. with many new parts already bought and included in sale. Instrument panel is complete with the original beautiful gauges intact. All alloy body components are in excellent condition.
