1960 356B Porsche Coupe T-5 partial restoration

Wanted to get this drivable after purchase in 1983 from guy in KC who had stipped it all down and put all the pieces in boxes. I always looked for the time for full restoration but now no time and losing ability to keep stored and maintain working condition. Original effort started with body work touching up old putty signs and repainted to porsche white with new seat covers. headliner. and cover for dash done at that time. Carpet inside car is not stock but looks nice. Rubber around door windows replaced and windows roll up and down nicely. Quarter panel window rubber replaced but rear window and front windshield rubber could be replaced. Many rubber replacements included in this sell. Pictures available. Rebar welded by previous owner under front hood. No oil leaks and very few miles on 912 engine purchased rebuilt from Stoddard in mid 1990's so clutch. throw-out. and rear seal in good shape. No tach since 356 was mechanical and 912 electrical but tach cable still present.   No side and front engine tin to close up engine compartment. Underside shows not heater box tubing or cables and driver side connection closed up from initial repairs to floor plan before replacement parts became availble from Stoddard. Frame in some spots and wheel wells need rusted areas fixed but overall appears solid and has probably 100-200 miles only on since 912 engine put in back when Stoddard didn't have any 356 engines to exchange (or so I was told). I've tried to describe appearance and issues the best I can and will be happy to send additional photo's or video but timeliness is a challenge as car is safely stored 400 miles from current location.

Payment and Deposit 

A deposit of $500. 00 is due within forty-eight (48) hours. two (2) days. of this auction closing and can only be paid to Seller by Cash (in person). or Cashier's Check.  Full payment of the final price is due within seven (7) days of this auction closing and can only be paid to this seller by Cash (in person). or Cashier's Check.  Please be advised that you are responsible for all fees associated with the purchase of the Automobile including but not limited to taxes and registration.   

Once full payment is received. the Seller will provide clear title. Bill of Sale and additional Department of Motor Vehicle forms to you for signature. The forms must be completed before the Automobile is shipped or made available to you.   

Due to the high cost of selling these automobiles. any failure to pay the deposit or final price of the auction within the time noted above will result in full action through eBay and legal action though state and federal law pursuant to this contract. In addition. the Automobile will be re-listed for sale.

Delivery or Pickup

 We want this transaction to be as smooth as possible. We cannot assist with any shipping arrangements other than to make the car available to prep and load. You are responsible to make certain the identity of those you hire for shipment are who arrive for pick-up if you are not physically present yourself at that time.   Regardless. you are responsible for all delivery costs and arrangements or picking up the car. If the car is not picked up by you or your designated delivery service agent or driver. nbsp;you will be charged a fee of thirty dollars ($30) a day after three (3) weeks of the auction closing for everyday the car is not picked up.   

You are required to be of the age of 18 or older to bid.

The Seller does not provide financing and reserves the right to end the auction early for any reason.
