NO RESERVE AUCTION

1970 marked the final year of production and sales of the legendary Shelby Mustangs conceived by Carroll Shelby from his small production facility located at the Los Angeles airport. just 5 years earlier.

Unlike the earlier models. these cars were more powerful than any Shelbys previously built--with fierce horse power and neck-snapping torque. yet more refined with lavish yet sporty interiors. state of the art technology and a wide selection of options.  They represent the end of an era in muscle car history that will never be repeated--being the epitome of historically significant. blue chip collectors items that are arguably more coveted and sought after than any other muscle cars ever built. With the passing of Carroll Shelby last year. the value of these cars has risen dramatically. in recognition of their desirable combination of rarity. beauty. power and the mystique of their famous creator.   Keith Martin's SPORTS CAR MARKET Journal. nbsp;the most recognized authority on investment and collector car valuations. in its most current 2013 Summer-Fall Edition. lists the 1969/1970 Shelby GT500 Buy-Sell Price Range as $88000 Low and $125000 high.   The GT500 is given a 4 star classification--meaning that it: "Will outperform the market at large; perhaps 10% gain in 12 months".

Take advantage of this rare opportunity to invest in a fine example of a 1970 GT500 big block fastback with a mere 52. 00 actual documented miles.  Shelby number 1037 is finished in its original rare and gorgeous silver jade metallic paint--being a colour that truly highlights the styling and contours of the car.  The car has been treated to a full rotisserie restoration. and features a fully detailed engine compartment. under body done in red oxide primer. a gorgeous interior. nbsp;and excellent fit and finish.  It has been driven only sparingly since its restoration.  The car has also been fitted with correct Ford dealer installed rear window louvres. and a state of the art. expertly installed audio system that is just too perfect to remove. but can easily be converted back to original if you are a purist.  The car runs and drives beautifully. looks amazing. turns heads. and can be driven or shown with pride.  It was recently owned and enjoyed by Craig Jackson of Barrett-Jackson fame.    It is documented with inclusion in the Shelby World Registry. Marti Report. original Shelby individual order document. original sales copy window sticker and owners manual.

The car being sold as is. and where is. with no warranties or representations-direct. implied or otherwise.    Interested parties are encouraged to inspect the car in Toronto. Ontario.
