NOTE: Thanks to a fellow Ebayer. I know much more about this car and relisted it. It is what is known as a "stripper" car and has the door sticker number codes of "1SC" and 1SZ" which can be seen in the last picture. These are special codes that say the car is a factory stripped down model without power windows. door locks. trunk release hatch button. fog lamps. cruise control. etc. made essentially for racing. The 1SZ code means it has the highest powered motor and transmission and heavy duty suspension that only these cars came with. Also only came in hardtop as from what I'm finding out. Do your own research. but there are very few of these cars out there and this one is the only one I've ever seen. I read about them on forums that were written almost 10 years ago and they were scarce and sought after then. These "stripper" cars were way lighter than regular Camaros and reportedly would do quarter mile times in the 11s (seconds) range. After driving this one. I can believe it. The following text is from the first listing. BEFORE I knew about the codes on the door. There also is a sticker on the door specifying the special "Z" tires and wheels. Still has the factory wheels. but the tires on it have to be newer ones because no dry rot and lots of tread left:

Nice unmolested 2002 Camaro Z28 35th year anniversary edition. Was a one owner car before me and I have not had it very long. Found it on a new car dealer's car lot in Florida. They ran a car fax and it is a one owner car with no accidents reported as far as it showed and I know. Looks like original paint everywhere on this car. no repairs at all. There is a crack in the plastic front bumper on the driver's side that should be very easy to see in one of the last pictures. Maybe from hitting a curb stop. I don't know. but there are no other scrapes anywhere to be seen. It is about 2 inches long and has a tape measure up to it so you can see. And it is on the bumper only. not the front fender at all. There is not another ding anywhere on the car that I can see. anywhere. Artic White original exterior paint shines like new. I have plenty more pictures. but Ebay has a 24 maximum. so message me if you want more pictures or ones of specific areas taken. I am the second owner.

(ALSO NOTE: I did not include in 1st listing that all four alloy wheels are in excellent condition and not scraped up from curb damage. etc. Again. ebay only allows 24 pictures or I would have put pics up of all four wheels!)

But here are some things that make this Camaro so unique IMO and why I was attracted to it more than others. First. it's very clean and well taken care of. garaged it's whole life I would say. Body has no clear coat coming off the Artic white paint. it shines like new. but there is a couple of small spots in the black hardtop that are peeling on the driver's side. none on passenger's side. Again you can see it in the last pictures. But this Camaro does NOT have power windows. no power door locks. or cruise control. Shocked me as I've never seen a fourth generation Camaro that did not have these. I did more checking and found that the only options this car has are the LS1 all aluminum engine. a 6 speed manual transmission with factory Hurst shifter. and a rear window defroster in the rear glass. (AGAIN. NOTE THAT IT HAS STIFFER SUSPENSION TOO ACCORDING TO CODES).
It also has a SLP (Street Legal Performance) bar across the engine under the hood and sure looks like it came that way from the factory to me. Maybe a SLP car in disguise. not sure. SLP is clearly engraved in the bar. I think you can see it from the pictures. it definitely says SLP.
I think this was a special order car where the buyer wanted only a bare bones powerful Camaro. no frills to bother with. I researched more and found ALL 2002 camaros came standard with air conditioning (which this one has and works great along with heater. defroster. etc. all working like they should). and a single CD disc AM / FM stereo radio (which this one has and works great also). If a radio was an option this year. I think this car would have been a radio delete car. (My opinion for what it's worth). And if you've ever had problems with power windows in these cars which they are famous for. you'd be like me and want crank windows. Not only lighter doors. but you would never have to worry about the motor failing. drilling the rivets out for the new one. and then the almost impossible job of adjusting the window regulator so the glass doesn't leak when it rains. That will never be an issue on this car.
This Camaro also has dual exhaust. but the two pipes come out together next to each other on the driver's side of the car. Every other Z28 Camaro I've seen has one on each side. I looked under the car and saw that it is indeed the way it came new. no exhaust modifications I can see. From everything I can tell. this car has had NO modifications and seems unlike any Camaro from this year I've ever seen and I've looked at a lot to see if I could find a similar one. I even thought it might be a B4C car. but it would not have the Z28 badges if it were.
Everything works as it should on this car. no funny noises. no fluid leaks. etc. The engine and transmission are tight and right. I changed the engine oil and filter with Valvoline synthetic oil. the transmission with synthetic Valvoline ATF transmission fluid (like it's supposed to have). the rear end with Valvoline synthetic gear oil and put in the Chevrolet positraction additive too. All four disc brakes have pads like new and may even be original. That's how well kept this car seems. The front end is as tight as any fourth generation Camaro I've ever driven or owned and that's several of them. I also changed all 8 spark plugs with the same brand and part number this car came with. AC / Delco platinum plugs number 41-974. They are almost impossible to find. but there are 8 brand new ones in it and all works perfect. Anyone that has ever changed  spark plugs on one of these 2002 Z28s knows what a job it is. I did it myself to make sure it was done right. The plugs that came out were the original ones and looked real good for having roughly 91k miles on them. They are 100k plugs. Tires are all matching correct size Goodyears with plently of tread left in them. Cloth interior is excellent IMO (no rips. tears. stains like is typical with these cars - see pictures) and I would rate it a 9. 5 out of 10. body the same.
I drove it last weekend up to Tallahassee Florida and back. about 350 miles round trip and this car can be driven anywhere from what I see. I can see no problems if someone wants to drive it away from here instead of "shipping" it. But that is up to buyer. I will work with anyone in whatever way I can.
Make me an offer if you are interested. worst I can say is no or counter. I do want to sell it. Car is sold as is. where is.
