If you're looking for a square body Silverado with a little bling that is about as rock solid as anything 'new' on the road venture a few moments of your time and maybe save a lot of money that the guy over in the next lane wasn't thinking about when he shelled out 50k for his plastic 2017 version. Not to rub salt in their wound but theirs is depreciating at a scary rate and yours is maintaining value or moving upwards. I know that there are Ford and Dodge guys out there who will argue that their brand is the best looking. best running. most reliable out there but here are the undeniable facts. Chevy's rule and that can be verified by a little search right here on Ebay. Look at the number of trucks out there from those manufacturers. look at the availability of aftermarket parts for vehicle specific components. Search for a door panel. a light bezel. a bumper. Not only will you find numerous parts but numerous vendors competing for your dollars for your 1986 Chevy Silverado and very few for the other makes. This aftermarket support is there because so many of these trucks are being preserved. restored and driven. Demand creates the market and. again. Chevy rules!
A little about this specific truck. Make sure to watch the YouTube video link because I take the camera all over. demonstrate that everything is functioning. and provide a lot of information that is visual. With that said. under the hood is a fresh rebuilt 350 that has an aluminum intake and Edelbrock carb that exhales through headers. This engine runs so smoothly and starts so easily that it will amaze you. It runs so well that it has a remote start! I demonstrate it starting and idling in the video. When have you seen a carbureted vehicle with a remote start? Once the truck has been manually started in the morning it will start by the remote all throughout the day. This vehicle runs so well I wouldn't hesitate to pull an RV. load it with toys. or use it just like a new vehicle. Stand out at the stoplight and yet be very functional for substantially fewer ducats. Can you say "No brainer?"
In the interior you will find a very extensive restoration that includes exterior color coordinated paint. new dash cap. new dash bezel. new carpet. new seat upholstery. new seat belts. new AC vents. new seat belts. new headliner. new door panels. new strap handles with chrome trim. new window switches. and black/yellow floor mats. The glass windows are all perfect without any scratches nor windshield wiper tracks on the front and tastefully tinted.  
Complementing these stand out in the crowd colors is a fully functioning interior. The passenger window is a little slow but everything else works per design minus the amp gauge and the cruise control. The gauge could be a simple fix but one would have to buy an aftermarket cruise control to replace the one that was removed when it was switched over to a carburetor. The Ac. heat. fan motor all work and there is an aftermarket radio that will mate to your phone or hook up to your iPod.  Furthermore. the truck comes with two fobs to control the power door locks. remote start. and set the alarm.
In addition to the blingy yellow paint up top the underside was painted black with no rust or rust repair. When the engine was out the girdle and frame were repainted as well as the entire engine bay. Underneath all of the steering components were replaced so that it drives down the road straight as an arrow and makes no squeaks or rattles. It drives like it's new. It is that nice.
It has brand new black powder coated wheels with classic Chevy trim rings and center cap. The tires are new. the chrome vinyl stripe around the middle of the truck is new. both front and rear bumpers are new. the brakes have been redone (power discs in front. drums in rear). has aftermarket led lights. Xenon (?) headlamps. Billet grill. etc. This is a sharp looking and thoughtfully upgraded vehicle.
